In the Eye of the Buzzard

"So let's get one thing straight - the name...it's not buzzard, vulture doesn't even do us justice...we have a beautiful name it's "Cathartes aura." The translation from Latin is "Golden Purifier" (Commonly known as Turkey Vulture.) We keep your roads clean...we earn an honest living, and we actually prevent disease...so be sure to let Dr. Fauci know. If you mess with us we use vomiting as a defense."

Thanks Paul, for faving "Into the Mist". It's a rare thing for folks to look back through another Caedesian's gallery (although I do it from time to time). It might take you a while perusing mine, however, with nearly 800 submissions. It's probably a good thing that, over the years I've been here at Caedes, I've long since removed well over 1,500 other photos that I thought weren't worth keeping. Once I'm done with my current yard projects I was planning looking through a few galleries myself, once of which is yours. That's one of the things I really enjoy about retirement... having the time to do things when I want to do them (but let me go ask my wife if I actually have the time to do it ;oP).

Thanks, Paul, for hanging out at Glacier�s Logan Creek, to take in the late-day crepuscular rays. With the 8,000 to 9,000+ height of the mountains there, those rays are almost an everyday thing.

Holy shite, Paul, you�ve been a busy bee (or is it beaver?), going back through my gallery. Over the years I�ve removed at least a thousand or more images from it so at least you�re seeing some of the better ones�the chaff from the wheat, as it were. Although I published for decades as a photographer for the state of North Dakota, it�s always gratifying to have one�s work appreciated by another photographer. Editors are easier to please (or is it fool? ;�)
