Hello JS, I see you are new here - Welcome :)
This caught my eye in the New Images. I like the contrast of the b/w and colour beyond the doorway suggesting better things to come. I find it rather sad and moving. Clever work :)
the path that is steep..
secrets are a commonplace here..
the eye is often blind..
with the dirt of the world..
read between the lines..
and the meaning lies here..
but please be not burdened by this..
sadness and pleasure are but same..
excellent work on 'mist of tear'
but reading in between the lines
of your poem..and as i close my eyes
i do see faintly what lies deep inside you..
your acqauintance is most cherished..
love and regards...take care.
Welcome to caedes. I Hope you'll enjoy your stay here.
Thank you for the kind words you left on my profile. It's always great to have good feedback on your work^^. very much appreciated. thank again

Hello JS, nice to meet you and thank you for your recent visit and nice comments on Any Bush..I'm very pleased to hear you liked it well enough to fav it...you'll find that no matter how long you're here there's always some image you had not previously seen and you're happy to finally discover...it still happens to me on occassion and I've been here almost 3 years now...well, tks again...much appreciated.:Pat.
Due to the recent slow down of the site, my comments and thank you's have been few as it was very time-consuming...will catch up ASAP...meanwhile, a group thank you to all and keep up the great work everyone.
Thanks J for taking a look at "Not So Alone." I'm a big fan of B&W images....I think they can make each person have a little different perception of the image. I'm really glad you liked it!!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thank you Jacquie - I'm glad you like my aquilegia photo. It was such a pretty thing - self-seeded in a patch of gravel - but I was able to take it with a stone planter behind as the background colour, so it was a lucky placement! Thanks again, Kate

Hey Jacquie,
Many thanks for having a look at "Out of the Crowd", and for leaving your beautiful words, they are kindly appreciated,
Glad you enjoyed it,
Thanks for looking at yet another "Valley of Desolation" shot!!! The white you see is definitely from the sulphur...so I would think that the gold/yellow is as well. If you like the smell of rotten eggs, this is your place!!!!
well if all your wishes come true it'll be worth it being out of breath Jacquie..lol..thanks so much for your fun and kind comments on "Make a Wish" and "Calm" :)
Hey Jacquie..thanks so much for all of your comments on my "Valley of Desolation" series. I always look forward to hear what you have to say on each of them and I really appreciate all of your kind words!
Hey Jacquie...thanks for your comments on "Amongst the Clouds"...this is actually from the hike up in the mountains on the way to the Valley of Desolation and the Boiling Lake. It's pretty high up and always rainy, so we were in the clouds for much of the time.
Hey Jacquie,
Glad to see your beautiful comment on "A Key", it is greatly appreciate,
It is true, we don't look too much at those fundamental items that make live our every day lives, (~8 8~)
thanks Jacquie, for visiting a white sport coat... p.s. he really is Bond, James Bond...he's holding a martini glass that has been shaken and not stirred...lol
lol..nooo..it wasn't about you and Tony (could have been though huh?lol) Thank you for the fun comment on "Don't push" Jacquie, glad you liked the turtles:)
Thanks so much for your lovely comments on "Woodland Mystery"...it kind of ties in with your Road to Faerieland... photo! My faerie stump could be at the end of that lovely path! :) Sherri
Hey Jacquie, thanks for the sweet comment on "Please??", such a cutie huh? I'm pretty sure that expression will get us just about anything we want..let's practise..lol
Thanks a bunch for your lovely words on "The End" Jacquie, really pleased you enjoyed it...I most certainly did while taking this shot...I'm always amazed by the colours and serenity on the beach at sunset...thanks again:)
Hi Jacquie,
Thanks a lot for stopping by "Those White", leaving your beautiful words, they are very much appreciated,
I will consider combining the two, thanks for the suggestion, (~8 8~)
Hey again Jacquie...thanks for having a look at "Smuggler's Bay"...the original image is a little out of focus, which lends itself better to this kind of maniupulation (at least it does for my limited photoshop skills!!!) This was taken on a different trip than other hike...but still the same country.
Hey Jacquie my dear,
Thanks a lot for having a look at "Nostalgic Question", leaving your sweet words, they are so much appreciated,
As for the background, I have modified colors for achieving the purple tints, in the original, they are all white,
Glad you like it,
