I didn't mean that your photo of the cat was off center. I just was saying, if you were closer to the cat, we could see more of the detail. The lighting is pretty tho. And remember, constructive criticism is a good thing. :)

Thanks Amaresumbra for those great comments on my Backyard Dragon Fly 3 image. I'm glad you found it interesting. It's sitting on a metal bird sculpture made from old tools. I used the telephoto macro mode on my camera at a close range. They will stay still if you move slow.

Hello Jen! Thanks for the nice comments on my Heron image. The key to this image is go slow and wait for the right moment and take a series of images. Then choose the best one. The only drawback in these bird parks is that you become a bird pooh target.

I am very happy and proud that you liked the begonia I got in a pot on my birthday on 22 May. Since then I knew all the time that the flower was beautiful and only yesterday I decided that it was far too charming not to share it with our great Caedes friends.
The flower was not half that beautiful last Monday - it simply grew and opened the buds and I like its colours so much !

Hi Jen, thanks for your comments on my moon photograph. The detail on the moon was very visible on that night, so I set my camera on RAW mode. When I viewed the image the glow was visible but not the detail, but by turning down the brightness the detail became visible. I created two layers - one with the glow and one with the detail then merged them. ...the wonders of photoshop! :) Patti
