To answer your question on "Equinox"...It was the Equinox. On the autumnal and vernal equinoces, (this year around 11:35 am) It is possible to easily stand an egg on end. Something to do with the gravity. Any who this one stood for nearly 3 hours. I am such a nerd.
Thanks for your comments and suggestions on Genie of the Lamp. I'm getting into layering now, but I am also uploading the simple flames. Thanks for the suggestions, and I'll do my best.
thanks for the comments on "The Eclipse", just an MSPaint grid that I overlayed. I thought I shoulda changed it too, but I thought it made it more interesting. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll work on that for my next images.
Thanks for the comments on "Gold"...I know you wanted me to put in backgrounds...but I only added a subtle gridwork..sorry lol. I am uploading another work that I felt Like going crazy on. Loosen me up a little :)
Hello again Alex, Thanks for the10/favs on"Stoned Apples". This didn't really take too long..about 2 hours I guess. The hard part is overlaying images of marble or granite(or whatever) and making it appear like it belongs. Not that many layers..under 10 for sure (in photoshop thats not that many). Changing opacities and layer blending modes is the key. Also desaturating the original image to almost B/W helps. It's alot of fussing back and forth until it looks right. I appreciate your looking and comments..thanks again.
=D jus so ya alls know, this guy is a cool guy!! by the way dude, thanks for putting up with me last night [probably the other day by the time you see this... or other month... or other year... or...]

thanks for the comment. I didn't want to lighten it up too much in case it ruined the visual effect, but I'll see how it works out...and post it as well if it does.
Just for the sake of pure randomness... This Guy is totally worth chatting with!!! Ain seen him for a bit, but hey... he puts up with the most stupid of people [example being me!] =D hey Alex!!!

From what I've learned... it is polite to thank people for commenting on your picture?
Thank you Alex, for calling my principal 'Shrek's mom', It'll be great to show him that he's famous now as a fat green lady! =P

Hello Alex! I'm glad that you liked my Paddle to the Sun photo. Thank you for your comments and vote. I'll make a version without the quote and upload it Tuesday or Wednesday.
Russ
Thanks Alex for the comments on my Paddle to the Sun 2 image and for the encouragement. I'm pleased that you enjoyed this photo manipulation. I've got more to come.
Russ
Thankyou for your comment on "Skilled Fingers" and i love your piece, "The Pain in your Eyes". I believe i have commented on it before but if not its in my favs!
Hi Alex, thank you for taking the time to comment on "Barbed Fence and Posts" I thought it was a pretty dark image as well. That's why I decided to take it. I am glad you liked it.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment about my Moon Photo...Its a rare thing when something like this just turns out...I appreciate your words a lot..thanx!!!
Alex, thanks for leaving your opinion on "Oceanside Properties-Stump Removal Extra." I assure you many borders were attempted. I appreciate that you kept that seperate from your compliment for Steve's terrific photo. ;)
Hi Alex, thanks for the comment on "Bluegrass Light". I am not to sure what type of grass it is. Not a commmon one as it was lonely in a garden. Haha, I was close to putting up the bordered one I made too;-)
I am very late with my correspondence to you. Please forgive the delay. Your input is important to me so pleases don't feel that I have avoided you.
Thanks for all of the nice comments about The old Mill image. It is next to impossible to get to where this image was created due to washed out roads and rock slides. In many ways this is good, however the sad part is it is very difficult getting there to get a photograph. You have seen this building from anthing from fine art to an ad for butter. This is one of those photographs that you are required to have if you are a photographer in Colorado. This building is located near Marble Colorado. It was a saw mill at one time. That is about all that is known about it since all history of that old ghost town has been lost with time. The river that it sits above is the Crystal river,

PS. I haven't had time to comment on the beautiful images in your gallery like I want to. I just want you to know, I think your images are very good. Well done.

Thanks for your comment, Alex. There certainly can be a few more, but I thinkt he sereis has already gotten to long. I would like tp post the original as the last. I can work ont he paleness for the rest of them, thanks for the advice. :-)
Alex;
I have been to Wales. Mostly around Cardiff. I truly love your country and plan on returning to photograph more of ii in 2006. Thank you for your input of my, Antelope Canyon - Exit. I understand your suggestion however, if you look closely at my posting again you will discover that this is a square image. I cannot find a proper crop to make a full screen image out of this capture. I feel that the balance is lost by either removing the bottom or the top of the image. If you would like to experiment with it please feel free to download and see if you can find a pleasing composition. If you can improve the image, without any distortion, send me your results via e-mail (address is on my profile page.) if it is good I will allow you to post it as a rework. I am happy that you posted this challenge. Thank you.

Alex - thanks for the post on Malham Cove - went up there on the off chance - and ended up having a great day out - spoiled only by hordes of people trying to spot the newly arrived pair of wild peregrine's nesting at the cove. every 5 minutes there'd be someone waving their arms about pointing at a circling starling and shouting "there it is". Bloody Peasants :-)
Thanks for the comments on "Mycenae Red".I did a crop to the left side to remove a branch and left the moss thing in..I kinda liked it in but you have a good point there..Much appreciated.
Alex, thanks for your comment on "Just before dark". I know nature is not like it used to be before, and I know it's some sort of sick beauty. But untill it's there, I'm going to be happy to look at it. And I will hope that it's going to be better one day.
Hey =D Sorry it's been so long ^.^ Thanks for the comment and praise (highly undue might i add) on Looking Onto Future Destruction! I really appreciate it <3
Hi Alex, thank you for your comment on "October Sky". I guess you're right with most of what you said. Unfortunately I'm an absolute beginner with Photoshop or similar programms but I will try to improve this image a bit.

Hi Alex...thanks a lot for dropping by to leave your nice comments on Green Grapes...editing and manipulation are not my strong points, lol, so I am especially pleased you liked it and tend to agree with you that a simpler frame would have been better...one day when I have some spare time, I'll work on it again...I appreciate your visit and suggestions.:Pat.

Hey thanks for your comment on my image "Outside " to answer your question, as much as I would like to say yes I did not try make the dwarf trees lne up. But I took sevral pictures at diffrent angles to get the right look.
Anyway, thanks alot for your coment, I thought it was very informitive and made notice things i did not catch before after or while taking the picture!
Thanks for your comments on Silent conversation. Yes it is a bit Smudgy and i think that depends on that it has been digitally resized from a lower resolution. It was, i think only 1024x768 from the beginning. No Clone work, i just add some colours and change the contrast a little. I am found of a little darker contrast on my images. Check out Silent Conversation 2 and give me your remarks if you want. Thanks a lot Buddy for your kindness and valueable opinions.
Thankyou too everyone who has commented on my images over the past months...it may even have been a year since I was fully active on the site. I'll hopefully get round to thanking and commenting on your images soon. I'm also very tempted to upload some new images soon.

Howdy from Arizona - thank you for looking at and leaving nice comments at "Comin' through"! If you like hummingbirds, there are some more in my Caedes gallery. BTW, looks like 'welcome back' is in order (?) and will be watching for some new images. Thanks Alex!
Hey! Thanks for the comment on "End of Days". Glad you liked it.
Agreed, it probably would look better without the tree in the middle. Wasnt thinking about that, at the moment though.
