Hey Alex. Thanks a lot for the comment. I am so glad to have gotten that shot.. good thing i couldnt sleep and was up that early. Im from Pennsylvania, US. You have a very interesting gallery so far and im looking forward to more. Good to hear from someone new. Thanks :)
Hi Raziel,
Thnx for the kinds words to my profile...!!
Well if u're really want to know how 'speaker-style' is made.. here it goes:
I rendered it with bryce...I'm just practicing a lot with bryce, try to
get and know al options there are, that's the first thing u have to do.. If u get that all then u can work good with the program.. so..that speaker-style image: I just had a massive big block... I gave it an texture.. and I was looking what I could do with that texture... and then I saw that 'speaker' I just zoomed all in to it, edited the camera position, a little work on the light's/sun.. add some colour, edit the brightness/contrast a little, ááánd there u are!
:)
45 min. to render..

Thank you Alex for your comments. No this one was actually posted earlier as part of a show series I called the door series that i did in late 2002,
Their were five in all, in the series. I will not post two of them do to they are a little too explicit’ I think for the site.
I pulled all of my work do to the reason I found a couple of my images for sale on another sight. So I’m reloading them with signature and logo imbedded. This Image is not overly done it adds suggestive view. With out being overtly distasteful.
To answer your question, the lighter rainbow effects were natural - coming from the sun refracting through the early morning mist. I used Photoshop's levels command to bring it out a little. Nathan :)
Thanks Alex, for the comments you left at "Cessnock Sunset". That picture was my first post taken with my new camera. Are you going to post your picture of sunrays so we can compare them?

Thank you Alex for the supportive remarks. It's not so much the work or the content as much as the perspective of the viewer' negative or positive it is something that the community will always have the last say on. Regardless of what number of the people disagrees. Standards have to be set for the good of the community regardless of the outcome. That is democracy

Thanks for the kind and encouraging comments on Winds of Spring, Alex. I'm so happy that you liked it and appreciate your taking the time to comment. :)
I appreciate your comments about "Accidental Beauty." You're right - the background needed to be focused. I think I'll try it again from a greater distance, so the whole image will focus at infinity.

Thanks for your encouraging words on Wind Beneath My Wings, Alex. Very much appreciated and I'll probably begin to post some of them once I'm a bit more satisfied with my efforts. :)

[Morte] When I was a kid, I went to school in Switzerland (circa 1960) -- and my English professor was Welch and spoke and wrote the lingo perfectly. Funny how time flies, but he warned about the same thing. He must have seen the future.
I felt missed when I read your comment and it felt nice. I've been on the road for more than a month from Colorado to San Jose CA to Tofino Vancouver Island, to New Jersey. So far I've put nearly six thousand miles on my new Sienna!

Thanks for the comments on my work. Unfortunately I did edit the pic a bit. But wouldn't it be awesome if it really was that red? Hope to hear from you some more.

Hey :) Thanks for the message you posted on my user info. page. I adore photography and I plan to start submitting my work as soon as I get a digital camera... I really hope it'll happen soon :s I was watching the sun set the other night and it looked SO beautiful I really wanted to take a pic of it but, as I said, I don't have a digital camera and there was no film in the other one lol. Oh well, I guess I'll stick to giving feedback for now :)
Thanks for the kind words on "Majestic". The trees you see in the background are mostly dead. I believe it was ten years ago a massive wildfire went through the area and burned a vast stretch of Yellowstone National Park. Life is now being reborn and is exciting to watch the changes from year to year. Thanks again. Come back as often as you like.
Mankind is the Universes’ ultimate expression of itself.
thanks for the extensive comment on "intergalaction"... the speckly look to it is only because my computer isn't capable of rendering the designs at high quality, so i have to turn it down, which leaves it not looking smooth.. it isn't too bad, but there's nothing i can do about it.. believe me, i wish i could render in top quality
Thanks so much for the kind comment on "Mr. Hopper," Alex! My camera is an Olympus Stylus 4 megapixel. It's really just a point and shoot type of camera, but luckily it does have a macro mode. This picture is just about the limit of it's capabilities :D I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Hi, thanks for your comments on Sound, and your suggestion on higher resolution, as an observer on my work, I like to hear suggestions on improvement. Gets me motivated....thanks..
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Hello Alex. I'm really glad you liked "Foggy Mt. Rainier Sunrise from Reflection Lake". When I started photographing, that morning, you could just see the Mountain. A little breeze came up and 15 minutes later the fog was gone. Just the right place at the right time. Thanks again.
