Cheers Pierre,
It's a great web site, it's taking a little while to get used to the protocols, but please bear with me.
I am enjoying it enormously!
Cheers Red
Thank you very much for the gracious comment on my galley. If your first two posts are any indication, I have serious competition ahead! To be honest, I started out here at Caedes three months ago with no previous experience. A number of the members have helped me and offered advice, but the pleasure and desire to improve and continue were also fostered by the kind of positive feedback you left me. I truly thank you... Steve
Haha! You was unlucky with your Manhattan visit... You know, I was on the top of the WTC on 01/07. Look at A view from... :-/
Thanks for your kind words.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hello again. About the Mont Blanc series: these photos were taken par a friend. Unfortunately I wasn't with him there. But he was our guide for the Belledonne serie. Thanks for your comments :-)
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
also for your nice comment on "sector x" and my gallery... well to make them i used photoshop with KPT plugins, along with experience.. really appreciate it ;]
Hey, thanks...i'll definately check out the other images of NY, if you put them up.....i think its better to reply direct, cuz there's so many images out here in caedes its hard to keep up with every conversation...
anyway...thanks for sharing your images...they're cool
Thanks for your comments on Less is more. While this image appears to be Black and White, it was in fact full colour! ...such is the effect of fog. Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you.

I saw that you'd dropped in to comment about In Terms Of Light, and your words were appreciated. Actually I do put a lot of effort into the images, but here in Louisiana it's only in the 50˚ F range in the mornings, so the only thing I have to worry about is the time (dawn) and the traffic on the highway where I shoot most of my images. It's fun, though and the results are so rewarding. Thanks again.
Thank you on behalf of Alexis and me for the nice comment on "Early Morning Mist." Alexis did wonders with her talented editing, and we both appreciate your support. Thanks again, Steve
About 'A beauty': I'm not a fan of pets photos. But this dog (her name was "Maitouk") was one of the most beautiful and one of the kindest dog I ever seen. I'm so glad to share this photo on my caedes friends... Thanks for your kind message :-))
ty for the wonderful comment on Atomic ver2.. i had tried it with the shadows touching, but wasnt quite pleased.. the shadow was sharp enough that i liked the idea of having it float.. shows it off a bit more i think :)
and ty for the comment on Atomic ver3 as well.. glad youre enjoying the series.. i may have one more or so in the works.. not quite sure just yet.. i think i have enough interest in them to try tho..
Hey there :D

hi, thanks for your comment on "red phone box".
about the yellow bits, i admit i wasnt concentrating very hard when i did it.
i did b&w some of the inside as you can see, but i didnt notice the reflections on the window(the yellow bits). thanks for pointing it out.
:)
Hi there. 'Springtime' was taken near my home. I always take my cam when the light is beautiful. Thank you so much for the kind comments, Redjazone :-)
Thanks for the nice comments on "Throne of Aurora." Now that you mention it, it does look like the TitanAE bad guys, doesn't it? Hadn't thought of that when I titled it. Have a great day!
Hi Red;
I seem to be hearing quite a bit from you lately. Thanks; I'm pleased you liked "Soft Green of Spring". I get up very early in the spring and fall, just to be at the right place at the right time. I like catching the first rays of light as it plays across the landscape.
Thanks for the comment on "Observing Wind". I am not sure how much wind was actually going through that inclosed room well inside a large building, but we saw air currents none the less. I am glad that you liked it. Be sure to check out both sequels (in due time). :-)
Hi Red; Thanks for your comments on "Desert Sunrise". As always I'm grateful for them. You should see them sometime. The mood changes with every passing minute. Take a look at my new post tonight "At the Giants Feet" for a different view about two hours later.
A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
Albert Einstein
Hello Red, hope you will forgive me, but this message will be pretty well canned and much the same for everyone who responded to my image At The Giants Feet". Im stuck in a very tight schedule at work and have been putting in as many as 35 hrs overtime each week for going on a month now. Even though this is a generic thank you, it doesnt mean that I dont appreciate each comment, its just that I have very limited time and not enough of it to respond individually. For all that asked particular questions, I will try to leave an answer at the end of this post. For those who left comments some time ago, please accept my apology for being so late in responding.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT OF MY IMAGES .IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.
You know what, the thought never even occurred to me to photograph the hotel. Next time I go there I'll make it a priority.
I want to thank you for your very nice comment about my ORegon sunset photo..Yes you are so right..the sunsets are fantastic here...and by posting the photos we can share part of our world with each other...its so nice isnt it? smile
