Hello Christina, thanks for taking the time to look and comment on 'Helping Paw'. Your nice words are greatly appreciated!
Welcome to Caedes! Hope you will have as much fun here as I have!
Thanks for your kind word, warm welcome and great photos! Jerry - You inspire me to buy a fancy camera and learn how to use it. Right now, I use a pretty basic digital camera. I'm a graduate student right now, but when I graduate, I'd love to take photography class. :)
Hi Christina, thanks for your nice words on 'Fire!' and 'Is my baggy'. They are greatly appreciated.
She was almost a year old when I took this pic, right now she's almost two years. But I'm happy to say that somehow she still looks very much like a kitty.

Hey, Christina, I thank you for your lovely words on my pic, 'yellow tree' and thanks also for the save! One of the joys of New England is the gorgeous riot of autumn color... which happens before the long dark winter closes in. So things kind of even out that way, lol... And welcome to the crazy artist colony of Caedes!

G'day Christina,
Thanks for dropping by Fresh Fig and thank you for your gracious compliments. Much appreciated. Welcome to Caedes, lots of fantastic photographs here and some good people too.
Peace,
Mikel.
Thanks Christina for the kind comments on my butterfly picture “White Stripe”. Once in awhile I blow the dust off my old camera and take it out for a shoot. This picture was taken on one such outing with my old Canon D60.
Hello Christina! I've been unable to spend the amount of time on caedes like I want too and I'm way behind on my comments. Thank you for your recent comments on images in my Gallery. I appreciate your support. Although I haven't had the time to comment on your images, I have viewed, enjoyed and received inspiration from them. Thanks for sharing them with us. I hope you weren't anywhere close to the recent fires.

You make a great point, Jerry. You ARE a wildlife/landscape photographer. I guess what I was trying to say is that you could do it for a living. But I guess there is one thing I have learned over time -- sometimes the things we love best should stay as our hobbies. They are more fun that way. :)
G'day Christina,
Thanks for your nice comment on Roots Rocks Moss and that spot was definitely snoozable! On "Snarl", if it felt painful to you then you connected 100% to what I connected to in that scene.
Mikel.

Thanks Christina for your lovely words on Australia #4. Your comment in greatly appreciated!
And yes it is a natural waterfall... not a big one though.
Hey Christina,
I'm pretty intrigued by the whole monochrome thing but it's much more complicated than I thought. (Isn't anything you want to do really well?) I'll probably keep experimenting for ages, some of those will appear here. I think one thing I have worked out is that the original photo has to have certain qualities before you can make it a good mono, not sure exactly "what" that quality is yet but I'm working on it. :)
Peace,
Mikel.
Hello Christina ... Glad you found Relax My Friend to your liking. Thanks so much for taking the time with your comment to let me know ... much appreciated.
G'day Christina,
The bushiness of Canberra is a result of it being an entirely planned city from the word go. It does make it a nice place to live. It also makes it a bush fire hazard, a couple of years ago five hundred houses, an entire suburb, was burned down in a bush fire. Swings and roundabouts eh.
Mikel.
PS thanks for the comments on Generation Gap. :)

Thanks for commenting on "Ocotillio". It was shot out in Anza Borrego desert, not too far from San Diego. I'm thinking that this is going to be a really good year for wild flowers out in the desert because of all the rains we've had. Maybe around the end of March. If your not in Boise by then, you might want to check it out. You can always call the park rangers to get a report on the wild flowers.

Thank you Christina for your lovely comment on Carnaval! I'm happy to hear that you like it.
The blur is not intentional... and not really a blur... all these creations are being pulled forward by a tractor... and that blur is the smoke of their engines.
And yes it was a very fun parade with lots of different creations. All are as colorful as this one... I will post some more of them...
Hi again Christina! I really appreciate you taking the time to view and commenting on my images. Thank´s for the great one on "Old Boats". I am so glad you like it :-)

God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.

Thanks Christina for your comment on my "Great Blue Heron" photo. I will get better ones soon. Just like I started out with my little birds, now the bigger birds will be my challenge.

Hi Christina, I am glad you liked my photo "My new bird studio" with the Great Blue Heron I captured. It is nice to finally get outdoors again instead of shooting from my laundry room all the time.
Hi Christina,
I too love the shades of blues and greens in the water of "Going On An African Safari" glad you like it. I am a nut about water weather be streams, lakes, river or oceans thanks for stopping by and leaving the nice comment!

Good Morning Christina! I'd like to thank you for your recent comments on images in my gallery. I haven't been on caedes much lately due to the tornado damage in my area. Please forgive me for the generic message but know I appreciate your support and image contributions. Have a great day.
