Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
Thank you for commenting on 'Untitled', with a lily and a leaf. It has been a while since I have wielded a camera so I am having to get a feel for things I already know. I do have to say it is like riding a bike, you never forget the basics. And I had forgotten how comfertable I am behind a lens. Anyways thank you for your encouragement.

Belated birthday greetings, Mr. Atar, wherever you are...just wanted you to know that apart from my poetic writings to you, I do plan on making a birthday gift for you but purposely postponed it after reading somewhere that you would be away, possibly to avoid just that, lol...you cannot escape these things...one day when you least expect it, there it will be, sticking out like a sore thumb with your name on it, hehe...meantime, hope you had a great birthday and are enjoying your vacation.:Pat.
Due to the recent slow down of the site, my comments and thank you's have been few as it was very time-consuming...will catch up ASAP...meanwhile, a group thank you to all and keep up the great work everyone.
Thanks Sam.
I actually forgot I deleted the Older "Lost". Appreciate your nice words.
You BTW, have a most incredible gallery! After some years of "self retirement", I've started to get back a bit, into my old first love of Photography. You work is definately an inspiration. :-)
I appreciate the kind words on this. You're actually correct, it would look better if say a planet was added in the background. I'll see what I can do and see how it turns out.
Hi Sam, thanks so much for your lovely comments for " Ruby Drop" not sure that I mirrored it, think I used a plug in for a lot of the fancy stuff, maybe that mirrored it :) Glad you like it anyway..

Hello Sam,
Thanks for your feedback on "Little Garden Acrobat",I appreciate it :) and I agree with you that the detail could have been a bit better, especially around the head of the ladybug...
Have a good evening,
Jess
Hello Sam, good to hear from you. Thks for stopping by, "The Beginning" which was a giraffe portrait. She does have a look that is one of a kind-sort of snooty look or flirtatious. Appreciate your comments.
Pat
Hello Sam,
since you occupation is Renovator and your projects is Pointing out other peoples mistakes, I'd say: "Give it a try, and feel free to rework the mosque image"!
Will you send me a p.m. whn you post it?
Thanks and succes!
Paul
G'day Sam,
Thanks for dropping by Fresh Linen and for offering your advice. On this occasion I'll pass on it as the light levels are exactly as I wanted them, that's why the photo was taken at dusk. :) Everyone else seems to want it brighter so I guess that makes me the weirdo here.
Mikel.
Thanks sam for commenting on "Waterfront Patterns". It was a sight that grabbed me immediately as soon as I saw the little red ship sail in front of the red building. I also agree about the quality but you have to realise my compact Fuji F31 only has x3 zoom and I was on the other side of The River Mersey, which at that point is three-quarters to a mile wide. But I'm glad you liked the composition.
TY Sam for the comment on Symmetry. I completely agree with you on both points about the door, was looking through the trash and this was the best shot of it i took !
WOW! It's a great honour to receive a comment from a consul "in carne ed ossa"!! Many thanks Sam for your kind comment on "Pisa". Your point re the framing of the shot is well taken!
Re the first part of your comment, I was flabbergasted when I first learned that even DURING the building process of this tower, the builders KNEW that it would be leaning!! Did they take their chances anyway? Did they know that it would lean but not collapse? Did they mean to generate a hefty source of income for the later-to-be-Italy?! Who knows!
Hey Sam,
Thanks for your very kind words on "The BallRoom", I do appreciate them lots,
I have tried cloning before (I use The Gimp), but with little luck, I've not managed to do any complex manupilations yet,
I do agree on the timeless aspect though, it would be better without those two,

Hi Sam, thankyou so much for your honest feedback on "Yo-yo Sky". I am brand new to this whole DSLR thing and such helpful comments are always extremely welcome. All the best, Kelcey.
Flying Hatzz...Yeah, they do look a bit like Antonio Prohias' Spy vs Spy head coverings...but I had something more like Erik Freyman...in mind...Thanks for stopping by...

Thanks for the taking the time to comment on, The Texas State Capital. I apologize for the long winded narrative, but there is too much to leave any out. It is much appreciated and stuff.
Thank you for the very precise comment, but I have to confess, when I took these photos I was just in a hurry to shoot, because I had just 5-6 seconds, the gull flew down and flew away. The title is waiting, but this beauty was just waiting for me to take the picture. I was not thinking about the focus, horizon...... And frankly, I like more natural things, I don't like modifying them too much.
Thanks Sam for the nice comment on "White Orchids". I agree with you about having some space around the flowers. I had the same opinion after I posted it.
Hi Sam...thankyou so much for commenting on "Mt Kosciusko 2". I agree with your comment, realized that when I was looking through my photos afterwards. But like you said, I'm happy with the c-index result. Thankyou again.

Thanks for your advice on "Fire and Ice"! I have since then learned how to change the terrain for underwater. It occurred to me after I posted that it looked a bit odd to have snow under the water line ...
I'll keep the "rule of thirds" in mind. I hadn't thought of it as much in relation to the sun.
There are few situations in life that cannot be honourably settled, and without any loss of time, either by suicide, a bag of gold, or by thrusting a despised antagonist over the edge of a precipice on a dark night.

Hi Sam, Thank you so very much for your visit and comments at Tentacles in Triptych ! It had not occurred to me, but you're right! :) Much appreciated!
Thank you very much Sam, for your nice words on my 'Airbrake' and 'Fullwing' photos. I'm so glad you like them. I's very nice to get comments from you.
Hey Sam.. thanks for your critic on Jungle Mountain.. thats the part i'm having trouble with.. Quality doesn't what I do it just doesn't seem to be top quality.. but as I said i'm experimenting so every little bit helps ;)
Ref: "ABC Camp" You wrote: Lovely scene. I do wonder if you should have tried to cut out more of that foreground (ie the dirt/tree roots). It reminds me of an impressionist painting.
You know, now that you mention it, I do believe you are right! Thks for saying say.
Hello Sam....Many thanks for taking the time to view (HEADS UP)and for your comments,it is very much appreciated....I will certainly take your advice on tilting the image so that the fence runs level....Thankyou again...All the very best to you Sam.............Mick.
Thannks for taking the time to comment on "Flower admiring Stained glass." I agree with you about the crop. I was working on a new computer and have just figured out how to resize without croping
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
