Thank you Paul for taking the view off Sapphire Point in "Ten Mile Range" The only thing I missed was no snow on the Mt peaks since it had all melted by Sept.

"Gatlinburg Tennessee" is not always peaceful. In the summer and fall it is very busy filled with tourists. Christmas time is pretty busy also.
They keep all the Christmas lights and decorations up until the end of February so it's like Christmas minus the crowds
I usually visit in the late winter and early spring when it is quiet. The highest mountain in the picture is named Le Conte
Thanks for looking down upon the town Paul!
Diane

I was born in the Pacific Northwest and have no southern accent but lived here long to learn some down home country folk jargon. I may have what they would eat for a snack all wrong The Mountain Farm is real peaceful they grow all their food, have chickens, raise pigs to eat and a stream is close to get all the water they need
Hey Pappy before you go can you milk old Bessie for me?
You never had an outhouse did you Paul?
Diane
Thank you for leaving comments on "Bog and lake" and "Little chapel on a hill",it is really nice of you,the roof of the little chapel is made of slate.Have a good weekend.
My new series with farms, barns, horses,of old timey scenes of rural mountain folk of the Southeast USA sort of ran off the rails temporarily due to me being locked out.
Sorry Paul there is nothing from the 20th century in "Cooking in the Cabin" guess you will have to play the fiddle or read by candle light and go to bed early. But I do have a big plate of possum stew warming up for you. thanks for your nice comment!
All Apple Blossoms needs is a moonshine still, I've got lots more of early spring in the MTs, in fact 600 but after I weed out all the duds it will be a lot less...thanks for your nice comment Paul!
Thank you Paul for the comments on some of my recent photos,it is really nice of you.As for my photo "waterfall in a park",i could not get all the flowers on the left, else it would have been overexposed as i used a relatively long exposure.Have a good week.
Thanks Paul for the nice comment on my photo "The Calling" Red Winged Blackbirds seem to be very hard to get good focus. This is the best one I got so far...
-:¦:-·*THANK YOU!*·-:¦:-Paul*·-:¦:- for stopping by and leaving your stamp on Butler Bridge. I appreciate it very much........Joy
I think it is still on YouTube.....Butler Bridge Plunge.
The box jelly fish is the most dangerous and can kill people... Yes I scare people more out of the ocean then Jaws.....smile. But I love the ocean too much to stay out of the water. Thanks for looking at my Jellies Paul!
I appreciate your comment very much on Owd Barn. I had deleted the post so you can imagine my surprise that it is still up and I have all these comments!! Again many thanks to all you great people here on Caedes!!
Indian Paint Brush is a bright red wildflower that looks so pretty with the mountains and lake in the background plus a bright blue cloudless sky really helped. I'm glad you enjoyed it Paul!
Thank you for the nice comment on my "Mocking bird" photo. There is not much sunlight where I have my bird studio set up, so I only have about an hour a day to work with.

Hardly. I learn from ya all. Thks for the comments.
Paul, thanks for your kind words on "Waiting for a Window." I keep playing with the filter too! It is amazing what you can come up with. Merry Christmas to you and your family. ~~ John
Thanks Paul for commenting on my photo "Spreading my wings" When I don't have nothing new to post I always search my folders and come up with something. Glad you enjoyed it.
I like to watch "Pilot Boats" Paul. It's neat how they bounce up and down through the waves leading ships out to deeper water, thanks for liking the action taken from the cruise ship railing.
Thanks Paul for your comment on my Deer photo "Don't shoot" It was very exciting to get up that close to one in the wild. Glad you enjoyed it. Have a good weekend...Gregg
Thank you Paul for the message on "White Camellia in sunlight",it is very nice of you.If you do not have time to post a message then it is not a problem,it is understandable.Have a good friday and weekend.
Painted Desert AZ It may appear barren and bleak in Blue desert" but I find otherworldy beauty there and sure isn't over run by tourists like the Grand Canyon up the road about 200 miles is.
Thanks for seeing it as more then a empty wasteland Paul
Diane
Thanks Paul for enjoying the warm sunny Daytona Ocean Walk day. By Friday everyone on the beach will be wearing a sweater since a cold and rainy weather front is coming down to the Sunshine State high of only 62.
Thanks Opie for such nice words on Bone Yard. I was just listening to a little Traveling Wilbury's and enjoying your very kind compliment. Have a good upcoming week.
Hello Paul,
Thank you very much for your congratulations on the occasion that I've become 'Featured Artist' in November 2009.
Your nice words are higly appreciated by me.
Regards, Cornelius.
I did a summer long road tour all across Canada from the East Coast to the West and the Canadian Rockies were my most
favorite place of the whole trip...thanks for looking at
majestic
Banff Paul!
About Early Morning on the Shore.. The beach and boats may be ready for the day but it was off season so there were no crowds and the place pretty much was nearly empty all day. But I liked it calm and peaceful just the way it was. The moon did look neat in the bright blue sky...thanks for commenting Paul!
Thanks for sharing the sunrise with me from my 9th floor balcony Paul I'll make some coffee and donuts and we can sit outside...looks like pretty day at Daytona Beach I do take sunrise/sunset shots but rarely put one up, maybe because there are already so many here
Nobody ever writes a scary story here so thought I'd give one a try with "Ominous Sign" I fact checked everything, but did make up the sunrise "The Orange stripe of Doom" name. That's why I had that goofy avatar to make it more real...except no one seemed very scared.
Guess I will leave the scare stories to the likes of Stephen King
Fall is the best time of year in these parts, the haze, heat and humidity of summer are gone...plenty of days with brilliant blue sunny skies and mild temperatures. But the thing I like best is the winters are fairly mild..usually only a couple of inches of snow all season. Thanks for dropping by
"Mountain Lake" Paul
I've had Swans and Canadian Geese hiss if you get too close to the babies.. but nothing like this being attacked by aggressive, pushy and very tall white geese with sharp beaks pecking my ankles so hard it hurt...I've swam by barracuda that were more friendly,
Thanks for looking at the rare mallards Paul
Thanks for taking my 9th floor balcony "view down Daytona Beach". Paul.. The hotel had 4 swimming pools, 2 indoor and 2 outside, a lazy river, a childs pool and hot tubs and hardly took any pictures the whole week...plus I was sort of leery what the salty and moist ocean air might do to the lens
Playa Hermosa in English...Beautiful Beach I'm rather partial to it myself. It is a black sand beach.
It was so cheap during rainy season I had to see Costa Rica for myself...The only mishap I was stung by a jellyfish very badly.
It rained almost all the time...the sun was out for only about 1 hour a day...thanks Paul
They do things a little different down in Costa Rica...I guess it was supposed to be a waterfall...I took one look laughed and said "That looks like a elephant peeing in the pool"
Just come and wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We can roast a pig, make silly tropical drinks with umbrellas, wear Hawaiian leis , maybe even a few Hula dancers thrown into the mix
Mahalo Paul for looking at the rolling waves
