"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Glad you liked "Morning Mist in Vermon", Shannon. It really was a bad year for the colours. That was the only good shot I managed on that trip. Came home early and got my best shots just up the road.(North of Kingston, Ontario.)
Hello Shannon...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (GLEN 2)and for your comments, they are indeed very much appreciated...The scenery in Scotland is very beautiful, especially in the highlands...My sister lives there and I visit her every year...I just love the country....Thankyou again Shannon....All the best....Mick.
Hi Shannon, Thanks for viewing "Diamond Valley Lake" I don't really remember all the things I did to this image to get it to look this way. I shoot everything in raw and make adjustments in Lightroom, then tweak the images in photoshop. I do remember burning the dark areas and dodging the light areas of the sky to make it more dramatic.
Hi Shannon and thank you,The Labyrinth,I used the Orton method for this shot blending two images one normal the other with a Gaussian Blur,This gave it a soft focus whilst retaining the exposure..Richie.
