Thanks for your comment on my two lake shots. Banff is about a hour and a half away from calgary, canada. Here is a map. You can see the lake just west of the town there. I took the picture near the end of vermilion lakes drive.

thanks for the comment. yeah my sketch (Daisy) is darker on paper. My scanner isnt the best in the world doesnt exactly get all the tone right. Oh well such is life.

Thnanks for your comments on cricket and the other stuff i shot at the park the other day! glad you liked them! you could be right that the walk in the park one (cant remember what i called it now) could do with being a bit less harsh, the lighting was difficult generally that day because it was so bright! (thats my excuse and im sticking to it :-) LOL!! Jan

Hi, I was wondering... maybe there would be less reflection on a pencil drawing if one could scan it in? In my limmited experience the flash of a camera tends to let the dark pencil regions appear white/silver on the photo... ;-)
This was only a thought I had...
