Thanks Sherpa. I have 2 EOS film cameras with the full range of EF lenses and flash so it will be great to be able to migrate them onto the digital format. They are asking A$2000 here for the 300D which is heaps cheaper than other digital SLR's. Thanks for your recommendation.

I still have a burger! It's just in color, now, because I have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century. If you find an even better looking burger, let me know.

Sherpa - Thanks so much for your comments about "Still going with the flow.." This was the 2nd version - after getting some feedback on the 1st. I'm happy with the result too.
It's nice to see this work has been a success - motivates me to do more. Look out for my work in progress "View from a Room".
since i have the free version of terragen i can only render up to 1280x960 so to make it 1280x1024 i decided to put the black behind it rather than distorting it by expanding
Thanks for your comment on "Red Desert". My first true digital, so I guess I'm about where you were with your beautiful render "Twilight in the Sound".

Happy Birthday....:) Thanks for your comments on "View from a Room" I used a program called Moray to Model the scene and the renderer was Povray. Glad you liked it!!
Hi Sherpa HAPPY BIRTHDAY and i do not know if i ever did answer you when you asked, what program did you use to make the artifact? and the program i did use is called 3Ds max 6
The grain that you had mentioned is digital noise; it is from shooting at excessively high ISO's. I didn't use any exposure compensation on "Fury", I just used the spot meter and exposed for the highlights on the cloud. As for the flower shots, the EOS-1D Mark II does not have any macro or creative modes, like those found on the 10D and D. Rebel. It only has Manual (M), Program (P), Shutter Priority (Tv), and Aperture Priority (Av). Since it's a professional camera, the photographer is responsible for knowing what camera settings to use to produce the image they want, as opposed to absolutely everything being handled by the camera.
Hi Sherpa...thanks for the visit, enthusiasm and high marks on Water Colors Supplement...very glad you like it and I appreciate the complimentary feedback on my current gallery.:Pat.
