I know what you mean Tom... the fence is too red for me, that's for sure. Thanks for your comment it's very helpful. Seriously, once you work on a picture too long you're not able to tell if it really looks bad or if you're just to involved in it.
Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by and comment on For Those Beyound. That image was taking by a friend of mine at St. Vincents Hospital in the chapel room....Birmingham, Al.
Hello Tom...Thankyou so much for your lovely comments on (STEADY BOY) they are so much appreciated....Horses were coming over the bank one at a time and I have to say it was an exciting time watching and photographing them as they appeared....Thankyou again....All the very best to you Tom...............Mick.
Hi Tom! Thanks for leaving such a wonderful comment on "Would You Bee Mine?". Actually, I didn't crop it into the corner, I took the photo like that. I really appreciate you taking the time to review my photo! Talk to you soon! ~Kayla

Sapphire Point describes the color of the lake water perfectly and is the same spot as "Chipmunk Dance" from last year The chipmunks are still there but the hilltop covered in tall firs had all been cut down due to a beetle infestation. It is a chilly Alpine lake and too cold for swimming but great for sailing. I don't think they even allow motorboats only non motorized craft..thank you for your kind words Tom!
Thanks, Tom, for your appreciation of 'The Sentinels' and 'Lake Bled, Slovenia'. The latter is the work of a missionary friend. We certainly enjoy the kind encouragement.

Thank you for enjoying "Twilight in the Tropics" Tom. it is for the contest and I read you can't use one already in your gallery. Lord knows I've got enough water photos to sink a battle ship

Hi Tom, thankyou for your comment on Columns Light the Way! Its my first ever attempt at night photography and i wasnt sure how well it would be recieved but it seems to have been quite successful! :)

Thanks Tom for your comments on "Neatly Folded & Stacked". Glad you enjoyed the photo. As near as I can recall there was no precipitation that day coming from the clouds. But it was over three years ago. Have a great day. ~Wendell

Thanks Tom for your comments on "F Grade". Glad you enjoyed the photo. I never realized the tree was distracting, I guess I never went far enough with my cropping of the scene. Have a wonderful day. ~Wendell
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience

Many thanks for your opinion on the 'Lac du Vallon HDR' image. I agree with you, the problem of the HDR picture is the unnatural look, that why I tried to do not abuse of it. Maybe a future post will be better, I must experience HDR image before.
Thanks Tom for your comments on "Waiting". Glad you enjoyed the image. A great DeLint reference, it's been a while since I've read any of his novels. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell
Thanks for looking at my fancy white car Tom it was spotless..I don't take many car pictures so I thought I would post one for a change. I would rather have a fast sports car then an old one like this
Tom - Thank you for faving "Denali Landscape'. The beauty of Alaska is difficult to describe, and photos don't show the vastness of the mountain landscape. I am pleased that you liked this view. Thad
Tom - Thanks so much for faving 'Meadows and Mountains'. When taking the train from Whittier, a former navy base, the only way out is through a one lane tunnel that is shared by cars. The direction for cars alternates every half-hour, with a unique construction that allows cars to travel above the train rails, with stoppage of traffic for trains. Shortly after the tunnel, the train enters this beautiful valley, with early morning sunlight (well, in Whittier during July the sun had been up for about three hours when this was taken). Thad
Thanks tom for commenting on "Going Green". Glad you enjoyed the image. This was just a mixture of gradients and textures with the odd bit of shape thrown in. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell
Thanks Tom for commenting on one of my favorite landscapes of the American "Wild West". . Towering monoliths exist within a vast plateau-and-canyon panorama. You can experience sheer-walled, red rock canyons along the twists and turns of Rim Rock Drive, where you may spy bighorn sheep and soaring eagles. Most tourists go to the well known Parks but this little out of the way jewel you can explore without any crowds. Glad you enjoyed and faved it! Diane
Tom - Thank you for faving 'A Wary Glance'. With Denali being a wilderness area, animals are left in their habitat with minimal intrusion by humans. Near the Visitor Center, I must think that this little bird knows how to get its next meal. But, in the spirit of the park's mission, it was not form me. Thad
I went on holiday to the Petrified Forest National Park and Painted Desert in 2009. I did a whole series about it. but I have deleted most of the pictures..I am sorry you missed them but glad you got to visit the Park it is sort of out of the way and pretty quiet all the tourists were at the Grand Canyon thank goodness. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for faving it Tom!
Peace in the Valley What I like to do is look online at log cabin designs just for fun. Some of them are so beautiful! I would like one about 1500 sq ft on one level with a mountain or lake view nestled among the evergreens but not too many since I would like the cabin to be bright and cheerful in the day time. I don't like dark and deary homes. You are welcome to drop by anytime Tom!
Tom - Thank you for the fave of 'Denali Landscape Redux', 'Denali Landscape 2' and 'Crossing the Teklanika'. Your supportive comments and faves are appreciated. Thad
Thank you Tom for your comment on "Bird of Peace for cynlee...(Cindy)". I was surprised at all the responses I got in the threads also. I think I helped calm down the negative side of this site just a little bit. I am posting again and glad to be a proud member of Caedes.
Hello Mr Tom, thx for looking at my image of the railroad trax. It was a little tricky sitting on the edge of the guard rail high above the rails as the autos sped by. By the way, a train did pass there about 15 min later...as I sat watching it go by from my truck at a red light.
