-:¦:-·*THANK YOU!*·-:¦:- for checking out Wild Turkeys...it is much appreciated:) I keep saying I won't leave home without the camera but I do sometimes. I did stop and get out but the turkeys bolted for the hills. There was something in the field they were feeding on but I don't know what it was.

Thanks for viewing and commenting on my Majestic Waters 2 image. I was testing out a 30 day trial of the Topaz plug-ins from www.topazlabs.com. I liked some of the plugins but I'm not sure I need the whole bundle. I used Adjust, Clean and Detail the most.

Hello Steve, Thank you for commenting on my image The Unexpected. I am glad you liked it so much that you added it to your favs. I believe that she was about to nest in the area in front of my Mom's house. The area is thick with trees and bushes. She tried to keep herself in between this area and me. After I noticed this, I sort of broke a few rules Nature photographers should always respect, only because it was in my front lawn. At one point, she decided enough was enough and gave me a chase around my front lawn, which attracted one my cats named Brock. After she flew off unharmed, we never saw her again.
Thanks again
Chris
Dark Waters I always wondered where "the deep blue" in reference to the ocean came from. I have never been out on the ocean. It always looks green at the beaches here.

“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.

Thanks Steve for the comment, if I remember correctly, and that's hard to do now a days, most of the bow-tie cars were 502 blocks, that's a popular motor for the chevy guys, I'll take a 426 HEMI any day..
