French Chocolate ...Of course, I didn't draw the image of the Louvre itself (with the Glass Promenade)...I used an image of a painting that I obtained via the internet and gave it a blue duotone, but the rest of the features, including the French Flag...are my concoction...Thank you for visiting!

Hi, Johanna. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and offer feedback on "In the Distance." I experimented with varying degrees of light on this image for some time...perhaps I overdid it - - ? Glad to know it got your attention! Wen
Birds Eye View was a resident of Bush Gardens Fl. I really like the color around the eye. Thanks Johanna for viewing and commenting on this image.

Thanks Johanna for viewing and commenting on my On Golden Pond 5 photo. The fish was the hardest part of this image to manipulate. It took a while to get it to look like it was under water. This was a normal sunset turned upside down and added ripples, a fish and leaf.

Wow, I am humbled by the praise for my "Sunrise on Eagle Lake" post. It was more lucky to be there than skill at taking a picture, but I willingly accept your praise.
Kia Ora Johanna, I am pleased you liked my picture of the ducks and thank you so much for your nice comment. It led me to your gallery where I have enjoyed browsing, you have done some very fine work :)

Hi Johanna! Thanks for commenting on "Poros". I'm glad you liked it :)
If you want to get blue skies like that, stick a polarizing filter in front of the lens... it helps a lot.

Hello Johanna. You left me feeling quite flattered and somewhat humbled by your comments about “Magic Moments”. Thank you. I tried to portray the beauty and atmosphere that Trish and I experienced that night. By your comments I think I have been at least a little bit successful :-)
Hi Johanna, I am glad you liked the photograph of the little cottage - 'it's a topsy turvy World' - it is kind of whimsical isn't it! The cottage itself was very quaint, but using the wide angled lens created another dimension to the image! :) thanks for your comments. Patti

Thanks for commenting on "Swarm" Johanna. I was using the reflection effects filters on Paintshop Pro and the picture looked like a wriggling mass of insects so I took a few pieces here and there and made those dragonflies. A lot of times something begins as one thing and ends up being something entirely different. I'm pleased you liked it.
Johanna, thank you so much for visiting my gallery and for your kind comments. I am particularly delighted that you enjoyed "Toad Lily". It is quite an unusual little flower.
Good luck in your new apartment--moving is tough.

Dear Johanna,
Thank you very much for coming by my gallery and commenting on my works. I think its the first time so its very nice to meet u.
I had a peek in to your gallery and u have some very nice art works there. Ur style and desire of vibrant colors are well evident all over ur works. Even though Im not a big fan of abstract arts I liked the vector (I think) graphics which u have done. Keep it up and keep in touch.
Johanna, I thank the visit and commentaries (my cat in pose) the capture is real and it does not have any type of assembly is only one cat that if finds in an exposition of a house of flowers encircled by diverse objectos, debtor, pride

I'm honoured to be added to your list of friends and only hope that (some) of my future images will live up to your expectations.
Just to let you know, I don't personally keep a list of friends as I think it would make it hard for me to look through the new images with my own eyes. I'm glad that others find the list useful, of course, but hope you'll understand if I don't reciprocate.
Dear Johanna,
Im so glad to see that u liked "Aishwarya". So far it my best work of art and I my selft liking it very much. Welcome to the club lol. Thank you very much.
Hello Johanna! Thanks for the nice comments on my Spring Flowers 5 image. This is a Long-tailed Skipper Butterfly (Urbanus proteus). I'm glad you like his portrait.

Hi Johanna, thank you for your kind comments on the photograph of the bench - and yes it is one of those very simple photographs and simple as it is I really got a thrill from seeing that the silhouette and colours were as I had tried to capture them. :) I wasn't sure if other people would like it but it seems they do. :) Patti
