Thanks for your comment on 'Golden Harvest'. Not through a shower door, but through PhotoShop. The original photo was of a gilded bedside table lamp, manipulated with several layers of filters.
Thanks for your comment on M and B7. B7 originated after a trip to Pritchard's Island, SC where the University of South Carolina runs a turtle conservation project.
Thanks for your comment on edge (moonshine). Always appreciated. To answer your question, yeah, sort of on purpose. With all of the layering, blurring, deleting, and repeating you start to get 'soft' edges within the image, like the tree on the left in the backgound, that start to look painted. : )
Thank you for commenting on 'Crystal Ball'. I'm glad you enjoyed it, despite the rather girly colors. I haven't attempted any screen savers yet, but I'm starting to learn to use animation programs. I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind!
Mawb, concering your comments on Organic Origami of Envy ... Green is the color of envy ever since the term "Green with Envy" was coined, at least in my book. And as for placing flowers in a design ... I didn't place the flowers there or design it ... It's a fractal .. basically a mathmatical formula displayed graphically ... as random as mother nature. I don't know why you would claim to enjoy it if you're already planning on altering it... guess it's the malcontent in you. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Mawb! I'm glad that you liked my On Golden Pond image idea. Thanks for voting and commenting on my work. This is a combination of several photo elements with a ripple effect added.
Thanks for you comment on "stillife with lemons"
Its very nice to get comment from a "post modern granMa" grinn.
even when i have no idea what a post modern grandma is like.
tell me about it sometime.
Thanks for the kind words on my "Thinking Outside the Box". :) Sure it's computer generated. Most of my other stuff isn't, but sometimes I play with only software to see what might happen beyond that digital corner in the exploration of light and shapes. ^_^ Dude. I "talk" too much, when so little is needed. I liked your website btw. Good stuff. Love the stories.
If there had been a paypal button to pay a small homage to the cause that you mention there, I'm quite sure I would have clicked it. ;) it's oh, so true, that the do-dad New Agers never help you guys, despite they take (steal, rather) from your cultures. But I guess a westerner like me would be happier as a plastic shaman then just a boring old Swede or something... ^_^
Howdy, creative ones. I have been conputer/webless for over a year but...'I'm B-a-c-k.' I like to make my desktop look pretty. I make my own icons with Microangelo, figured out how to patch in XP Visual Styles and search for wallpapers here. If I can figure out how, I'll post one of my favorites.
