I made it in PhotoShop7...though I can't remember everything I did...the main background is an Apophysis flame with some added lighting effects - the rest is all PS experimenting...I used a lot of motion blurs in that one, too...

Thanks Andrew for both of your comments on my recent uploads one deffinatley stands head and shoulders from the other however I was very limited to technology back in 2003 in Iceland and was film. When increasing the size granulation is obviously in affect big time. However 2004 Nov 2.1MP Russia from a jpeg has worked alot better being enlarged. I wish I could get back to Iceland now however it cost a bomb. Cheers again.

Hi Andrew. I do hope you and your mom enjoy your new dog when he/she arrives at your doorstep. They are just lovely dogs to be around, I can tell you that they are very quiet, very independent, and when they are in the mood to play they go absolutely wild. Their tail is especially cute, being as bushy as it is.
Out of curiosity, is the Shiba Inu you're getting a black and tan, or a does it have the same coulour coat my dog has?

gotcha- cool trademark. ;) it might be really cool to make kind of a halo effect out of them- but its your image of course- wouldn't have you do something you don't like to. :)
