Well, if you're new at photography, you could have fooled me! Your shots are so clear, sharp and pristine. You have a very lovely gallery already. I only started this (photography) in earnest because we were going to travel and I wanted to have photos to remember everything. Thank you for your very kind comments, but like you, I am a beginner. I have much to learn, but I'm picking up things here at Caedes. See you around this place a lot I hope.

Melbourne to Hobart 04/05 - 2: Yes is was a bit wild that day, blowing 40 knots and we were only at the Heads - the entrance to Port Philip Bay. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Terry, thank you for your kind comments on the Geiko Gecko Guy. I really tried to get a super close shot of the little dude but he moved fast and even in sports mode the camera wasn't quick enough to get him without a blur. What blew me away was his color - exactly like he shows up in the photo - no retouch at all. It was a thrill to get what I got. Thanks again. I appreciate all the suggestions I get. anne

Hi Terry, On "Historical Reflections" - It was shot in the morning. I think it may be dark because I don't have a very good monitor on my laptop which is where I do any contrast and lighting adjustments. This was shot under exactly the same conditions as Reflections, just from a different angle. Thanks for pointing out the density issue -I'll have to check it on my husband's better monitor and see if I need to make some corrections. anne :-)
