Shepherds Delight Uploaded: 06/25/12 8:28 PM GMT

Image: Shepherds Delight

I wanted to do something with what was a plain leafless tree against a grey sky. This was the result. The title comes from an old saying "Red Sky at night, shepherds delight, Red Sky in the morn', shepherds be warned!" Thank you in advance for any comments.

Thanks Ann. You spotted the flaw of course, the design was never meant to have a comment and was merely an addittion for Caedes. The t-shirts were made and sold and the festuval was a success and what we made is already the stuff of memory - the t-shirts are collectors items it seems! But, for now the idea of the Moon being an object through clouds in the shape of a map of the world lit by coulours of a rainbow surrounding a lighthouse of a small town in Yorkshire... well that will do as a grand idea... for now anyway. The music was and is much more important. My Thanks and appreciation for stopping by. Tommy. PS I like your photos...esp 'Reflections'.

Hi, Ann

Thanks for dropping in too see Return of the Primrose. She's hard to miss. She is in a flower box on the sill of the dining room window. I make a point to visit her and her friends almost every day. I think they sense the attention.

This is the same plant in Primrose Lane sporting fresh blooms. The blue-violet will be next in a few days, followed by the white in another few days. The all have their "day in the sun" on a cyclic basis.

Take care and God bless.

Hi Ann, thanks for the comment on my "under the pier" shot ... It was really foggy out day and we almost didn't see the pier until we got really close to it ... I think the fog helped give it that never ending look :)

Hey Ann, Thanks for the comment on "Thank you Caedes" I just had to pull that old photo out of the trash bin and post it, thought it was a good one for my first post after my Artist Spotlight award.
