Thanks for the info on the windmills. Being a student of engineering I actually figured it had something to do with destructive interference but I'm sure I have seen places where they are just row after row of them anyway, or maybe those were just solar panels... Well I was sure 2 seconds ago :)
Well actually it did make since (on your comment to my "The River of Styx") actually I thought of it quite humorus. I like Styx they're good. I guess you don't or something from the way you kept kind of apolagizeing about saying it. But any way thank you for the complement. By the way if you DO like styx (or even if you dont) you should check out the band Dream Theater. oh yeah i remeber what i was going to say: I didnt name my pic off of Styx the band i named it after the river of styx in ancient Greece. In which Achilles' mother dipped him into so he could become immortal.
Hello again Michael. I really appreciate you taking the time to stop and comment on (Home by the Sea) and (Ghost Train), although I think the Tommy the Train stuff is over my head :). Thanks again, and I'm glad you enjoyed those pictures~
Michael, many thanks for your comment on "Bates Motel". come to think of it....it does sort of look like buildings from an HO model railroad set. don't give my hubby any ideas because he'll want me to make one for him! lol
Hi Michael,
Thanks for the feedback on "My Backyard #1" glad you liked it. The fishing is very good here we catch bass, pike, crappy, and perch in this 60' deep lake. It's part of the Oak Ridge Moraine kettle lake system carved out from the last ice age, and sits 20 miles north of Toronto on a ridge 300' above Lake Ontario.

Hey, thanks for your comment and advise on Tropical Paradise. I really appreciate the suggestions about let foreground clutter and all. I completely agree that it would be a much better picture without that stuff.

Hi Michael...thanks for stopping by to check out Holiday Fun...glad you found something about it to your liking...I tend to agree with you about the arches but as for fewer people in the shot, it's very hard to avoid unless you go really late at night as it's quite a popular spot for skating. : Pat.
Michael!! thanks for your remarks on >>>Giddy edge of light<<<<<The image is pretty much real...only thing is that is manipulated are colors and the lightning.....thats all...and i added a thiny light in the window....:)
Thankyou for your comment on "Skilled Fingers". I really glad u liked it. I never thought of it in terms of elegance before but you've really helped me to see this image differently. Thanks again!
Hi again Michael. Thank you for the comment on (Braving the Elements). It was a very lucky capture indeed, and I did not even see the bird when I was shooting. I took the shot from the road near the beach with 10x zoom... Just spotted the little guy being brave when I checked out the pictures later :). Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Michael...thanks for checking out Christmas Rocks...yep, it's a fun way to spend some of Christmas, and I know what you mean about how it looks playing left-handed...I am left-handed, but play guitar right-handed...it just didn't feel right the other way...thanks again. : Pat.
Michael, Thanks for your kind compliments on "Mountain Majesty." Pretty countryside, isn't it? If you ever get to Idaho, go up to Sun Valley (the famous skiing resort), then travel about another hour drive northward over Galena Summit, and you'll drop down into one of the most beautiful valleys on Earth. Hope you have a great New Year!
Thank you for your continued comments on the paradise lagoon photos. I feel extremely lucky to have been able to visit (what I think is ) one of the most beautiful places on earth before this horrible tragedy. I am thankful for the fact that my family members moved from Thailand to China 2 months ago and for the fact that it could have easily happend while I was there. My heart goes out to all the poeple who were not so fortunate and I can only hope that all the children will find their parents or a loving home to take care of them.
This is a prime example that as big as the earth is , destruction and devistation shows no boundries between , race , religion or nationality. It almost makes the petty differences that divide us all seem pretty small in the grand scheme of things.

Wow! Thanks for your comments on my Speed of Light, it´s comments like yours that make it all worth the effort. And by the way you are the first one with the right theory about how the picture is made, now I am impressed. So once again thanks and i am glad you enjoyd my work.
Hi Michael...thanks for your visit and nice comment on Nobody's Fool...glad you liked it...yes, you're right, cats are fun to capture...they get into so many different situations and they're so photogenic...tks again.:Pat.
Hello again, thanks for checking out (Aw Shucks). I hope I get to visit that place again this summer. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the resulting photo.
thanks for your comment- well, if you're planning on a trip to norway: let me know! I'll make some nice norwegian waffles with strawberries - you won't find any better -they are the best strawberries in the world! :-P
Hey Michael :D
Thanks for commenting on *Kiss*...I'm pleased it impressed you ^_^
Though actually, none of it was computer generated (if that's what CG stands for :P)...
the faeries were totally hand drawn using PS7 brushes :]
Thanks again, and best wishes...
Hi Michael. Thanks for your comments on "under the pier". Much appreciated. I have always had a tendency to look at things a bit off center. My original image is plenty big to have centered this, so if you'd like the original to play with, just PM me. Thanks again.... Alexis

Hi Michael, thanks for viewing and commenting on my image of the steam-loco called "Dylta". You don´t have to say all those clever things...lol..I´m pleased you liked it..! -- Arne --
Hey thanks for taking the time to properly comment on my photo, i really appreciate it. I get your point of view, but i wished to capture the scene as i felt it had a few things to reveal. i do agree though that more grain (lower contrast) would make it better though, but i'm glad the way it came out given it was 90% unplanned hehe. thanks again
p.s. your gallery looks intriguing too...will check it out
Thanks for lookin at 'Cold as Ice" Mike, appreciate it man.
I looked at your gallery, and you are a really cool Photographer. Lookin forward to seein more of your work.
"Cold as Ice" was made with a program called Terragen. It's a completely fictional picture. Not sure you knew that, or really thought it was a picture.
But anyway...Thanks for stoppin in to take a look at it. Appreciate your comments.
Don't feel foolish at all Mike. You just gave a terragen artist his Biggest compliment!
That's the whole goal of most terragen artists, as close to reality as we can get...in most cases. Thanks again sir!!
BTW, Terragen is a Free, downloadable program if you'd like to give it a try. There are all kinds of websites with tutorials on how to use it too. You can find it here.

Thanks for the comments on 'Fall at Tipsoo Lake' very much appreciated. Good one...you should have let the joke ride. You can frame the picture and tell everyone you took it in D.C.

Hello thank you very much for the comment on Evergrass. i didn't edit it one bit, it was just a special setting on my camera that i like to use that gave it that green hue.
You've got a wonderful gallery by the way, love the lake shots.
:)
hello and thank you for also commenting on Everclouds. I too am glad I looked up! the sky was beautiful. I shouldve been looking at it more without a camera infront of my face. :)

Thanks for commenting on "Shrimpers" I agree about the pixelation...picture was taken back in 2001 with a 2 megapixel camera and in order to get the shot I had zoom past the optical zoom. Enough excuses the subject was pleasant and I tried, Jas

Michael, I appreciate the comments you left on my posts of today, 'Fall Colors' and 'Carolina Fisherman II'. It is alway a joy when you see the message that someone left a comment. Jas
Thanks for your comment. I belive i had my polerizor on the front of the lens for the one in question. So that will bump it down a few stops, but f/13, for 6 seconds.

Thanks for commenting on "New Brighton Storm Clouds". I think once these clouds took over it should be 'Red sky at night - Sailor's house is on fire!!' LOL
Hello Michael! I've been unable to spend the amount of time on caedes like I want too and I'm way behind on my comments. Thank you for your recent comments on images in my Gallery. I appreciate your support. Although I haven't had the time to comment on your images, I have viewed, enjoyed and received inspiration from them. Thanks for sharing them with us.
