Tom, thanks for your comment on "Maymont". I see a few people have finally taken the time to comment on your "High in the Clouds" photo -- now they need to do the same for "Summer Eve"!
Tom, I came to look at your info and see you're brand new here! Welcome and I hope you've come to have some fun with the Caedes Cadre! You're gallery is stunning! Where on the east coast are you?? ~Mary~
Welcome to Caedes, Tom! I'm so glad you took time to leave comments at "Holy transfiguration temple". Upstate NY is many things and the monks at New Skete are just one of them.
Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.
Hi Tom. I'm gladyou liked Obstacle. I sat in front of that root mass for some time admiring its sheer bulk. It was AMAZING.. simply amazing. cheers, Quiet
Hey Tom, thanks for your comment on my "Magnolia" photo. You can tell from some of my other pictures that I'm a sucker for symmetry, but I think in the case of something organic like this flower, it's not necessary. However, I did play around with it a little, cloning a petal from the right side over to the black area on the left . . . and darn it, I think you're right. Maybe next time! - Greg

I still don´t know what it is, other than it got to have something to do with the railway that once was there. Thank´s so much for commenting on "Some-Thing". It´s very much appreciated.

Hi Tom, thanks for stopping in at "fallow field". I did try different color adjustments, but decided to stick with natural. Everything else looked a bit pushed to me. You are more than welcome to improve upon this image. I think I could use a few hints.
Hi Tom. Thanks for visiting the first in The Lair series. Hope you enjoy the rest. From my c-index, it's not off to a powerful start. But I find that everything I post seems to get tanked now. Maybe I'm getting WORSE :D But it's nice comments like yours that make posting fun. cheers, Quiet
Hello, Tomeast. You left very encouraging words on The Lair series. Thank you! Yes, I considered putting the words on but my words would ruin such perfect stone structures. Better they stay separate! I do hope that when people read it, they imagine the cool, dank cellar-like place. cheers, Quiet
Hi Tom, and thanks for the lovely comment on my pic, "ephemeral mirror." I don't have any way to remove the jet lines... I do notice them in so many sky shots, though. I'd be interested in knowing how to remove them.

Hello Tomeast. Yes, there is more to the eye. On a reality note, I was so interested in this formation in the cave I explored. Credit the genius who discovered this formation in the cave and had the good idea of strategically lighting it so as to accentuate the eye. That was the real artist, imho. Thank you for visiting it. Not sure how the story will end yet.. but it will soon. cheers, Quiet
Hi Tom. I thought of slaying it, but was too soft hearted. So then I thought of how naive I can sometimes be, reaching out to dragons and hoping to bridge the gap. I have recently learned this is a foolish thing to do. Majestic and entrancing in their anguish, it is better to enjoy them from a distance. I hope to learn from my own example :) cheers, Quiet
