Josh, I'm grateful for your comment on "34 Years Strong". You know how worried I get over these dedications. lol I can spend hours at Hallmark and not find just the right card for someone too. Okay. Too much information. lol. Thank you buddy. I do so appreciate the "way" you comment and respect your opinion.
thanks josh for the comment on "inmost kindlings"... don't worry about it, i was just hoping people would like that one more, but it seems it's just run-of-the-mill... glad you like it and thanks again ;]

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Well hi there! Thank you for the nice comment left on "Ring Around the Rosie". I can't believe you saw something 3D. Little 1D me states. lol Josh, I hope all relatives are safely out of the path of these storms. I'm also anxious to see your work in the contest. ;)
Josh - thanks for your post on 'Harbour' - I felt I had to do something with the tones of the original image as it was a very hazy day, so gave it an almost sepia effect - cheers!
I gave your sunset a 10, because it is perfect in it's beauty, reminding me always that when the clouds are tired of their color, they pull themselves away to reveal that yes, the sun is still there, and all the filters are in place to make the perfect hues for a skyscape of a time to rest. Romeo
Josh, thank you so much for your wonderful comments on "A Thorn Is Born". Without your encouragement, it never would have see the light of day. Now I think you might have me hooked! I really appreciate all your help ;o)
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~

Thanks for you thoughts. I will keep trying on that image. I think i made out something that could have been legs once or twice, but never long enough for clarity. I would like to try the program, but I should at least wait until i can make out the entire spider. I don't know a whole lot about textures, in fact, that is my biggest problem with blender. I can make a shape and click the link to steal the tutorials texture, but what do I do if I am on my own? If I do get a little further along, could you help me a bit? Thanks for the time.
Darryl and I both thank you for taking the time to visit that odd flower. ;) Thank you for leaving comment. It's all Darryl's creative genius and magic that deserve all credit.
Good morning Josh. Thanks so much for the comment and your support on "After All." I'm also encouraged and honored to hear your added statement and highest compliment on "Accepting Our Differences." ;)
Hi Josh. Greetings. I read your response about "Evening Passage" and I think I see your point. It's often worth our while to experiment with new approaches to imaging. It's a good image.
Thanks very much for your feeback on Wounded, Josh. Its a problem I've got at the moment, since everybody's monitor settings are different. I had uploaded an earlier version that when I viewed it, it looked how you describe in ru comment. So I have already darkened it and up-loaded again.
I'll see what I can do.
Thanks Josh for the comments on my Hey Whats This Thing photo. These little critters went all over and it took a while to get them in one place. I'm glad that you enjoy this image. Thanks for the suggestion on the background.

"Simply look with perceptive eyes at the world about you, and trust to your own reactions and convictions. Ask yourself: "Does this subject move me to feel, think and dream? Can I visualize a print - my own personal statement of what I feel and want to convey - from the subject before me?"
Ansel Adams
merry christmas and all that - keep shooting the awesome pics!

Happy holidays from all one of us @ Random Arts Inc.(Rainc)!
Hello Josh! The Clearwater Pier 2 image was screaming for me to capture it. The two teenage girls seemed to add a nice point of focus along the sunbeam reflection. I'm glad that you like this image.

Hi, thanks for your comment on my "Central Park Skyline Panoramic." I'm working on an improved border for the image and I have also downloaded Neat Image. The image was digital, from a Konica Minolta DiMAGE G530.
Hey there, thanks for the advice. I'll go have a look when I get home tonight. I stole the presentation idea from Regmar's latest series. I think a black background generally works well.
hey josh, thanks for letting me know where "lakeshore" was taken. i didn't make it to lucerne when i visited switzerland. my favorite place was champery, it was totally secluded and breathtaking. i have to go back there soon.
Hi, I didnt even realize we can get comments by clicking on our names, I don't remember what I said about your picture, or even the picture itself. I would like to see it again but I don't know how, its been a while since Ive been on Caedes. So if you can give me the link to it? thank you!!
Hi Josh - Yes, all is well here... How is it with you? I have to admit peeking at your website - that blue square puzzle got me - best I could get was 3 left... might try again one day...
regards, mum42.

Hi Again. Thanks for all your input on "Blooming Cascade-Collab." and "Glow Blossom-Collab." You know, as you explore the world of frames I would bet you will have many "close calls" and tons of differing opinions! lol Never an easy choice. Always many options. The unframed version of "Blooming Cascade" was offered and uploaded in Arne's gallery. One of the few times we offered two versions because we just couldn't decide! ;o. It didn't make the perms but I have it to send you if you would like to see it? I am always completely pleased to hear from you on my work and I respect your opinions very much. Thanks again. I will also add thanks for Arne since he appears to be taking a long break right now. ;(
"Thanks, all, for the comments, and yes, all, I disagree. :-)
In my opinion, the subject is the sun, which makes the framing interesting. If you don't recognize the sun as a subject, I understand why the framing may seem pointless. As for the blurriness, I put it there. The original shot was in focus, but I wanted a soft feel, especially far away from the sun. The sun is fairly in focus while the rest just gets blurrier and blurrier. I played with the color filters a good deal and liked this the best because the grey needs to be grey, and if I change the color pallette, who wants a purple sun?
Thanks again, I will consider the masses when designing my next upload. :-)"
Thanks my friend, Im glad you like "CAEDES-expo-" and u still like that idea...ah, i just put the link you suggest...thanks a lot!!!!
have a wonderful day!!!
Hi Josh, thanks so much for looking in on " Nuclear Winter ". As for it looking Christmas-y, yes, you're right, it reminded me of a snowflake. But since my prior posting was Tom Turkey I felt 2 holidays in a row was just too strange. But I'm glad you liked it & thankx for commenting, I really appreciate it !!

Thank you for your visit to "sunrise in the Sinai mountains" and for your nice appreciative words. I am glad you liked it. I would like to invite you to my gallery. Perhaps you will find there something of interest.
Hi Josh, thank u very much for the very supportive comment u left behind on 'stilt fishing' & is much appreciated & as u suspected, the c index does not bother me, i enjoy producing work for the likes of u :~)
Hi Josh...many thanks for your visit and nice comments on Fall Fishing Revised...very glad you liked it...I did have the original in my gallery for some time but then deleted it...eventually I hope to get more images up on my little website where some comparisons can be made...thanks again...I appreciate your visit.:Pat.
Hi Josh,
thanks for you opinion on "reflection", I really appreciate it, like everything that helps me improve my work.
You're right, it is centerd, by I was afraid of loosing too much of reflection by shifting it.
Jekyll Island Sunrise was the reason I didn't stay home and go to work on that Monday morning. We drove to the coast for a day trip one Sunday in August and decided to spend the night. I'm glad we did. We had a good time and any day taking photos instead of working is a good day. Thanks Josh for the nice comments. I'm very pleased that you like this image.

Haha, Josh. Thank you for commenting on "A Beautiful Song". You have a better memory than I do remembering a little info I gave you. Nice to hear from you...take care;-)
Hola JOSH, I just want to say Thank you so much for your everlasting support, and keep looking thru my gallery, I hope this idea of "coffee time", really works, I keep my intense work on it...and still waiting to open it up.....

Thanks Josh for ALL of your comments and sentiments on "Golden Reflections". I feel really honored to be chosen for AOWT.
Light, that magical phenomenon that allows us to enjoy the sights of the physical world, is the property that grants me the ability to interpret and record the beauties of that which is so vital to me: my physical environment. Each of us sees and interprets the world a little differently and I am happy to share my interpretive vision of it with you.

Hello Josh...thanks so much for stopping by to look at Harrison Park...good to know it appealed and you didn't find it fuzzy...also want to thank you very much for your congratulations on my nomination as AOTW and apologize for this late response...I'm afraid I'm not keeping up with all the comments and PM's very well but I do appreciate your kindness in this regard.:Pat.
Thank you so much for your nice comment on At Sunrise. I will be sure to keep your suggestion in mind on future postings. Thanks alot. I really appreciate your time.

As for my comments on your image "Newnan's Nightfall". I call it as I see it. It really is a very nice image.

Hey Josh, thanks so much for visiting "Blue Mooring" I am so glad that you liked it and thanks so much for your nice comments. I appreciate your time and opinion :)
Thanks for the comment about my Tree Frog photo. I wish I could say it was great photography, but he was just sitting right in front of me on the trail. The extent of my work involved sneaking up on him which as you can see from the photo I did not do well.
Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at and comment so nicely on "burney falls rainbow"! As for the oversharpening, I went back and forth on that and finally decided on this way....but I am a beginner and still learning tons. So, thanks for the informative comment also! I really love how everyone helps each other here. Have a wonderful and peaceful day.
"So I'm rappelling down Mount Vesuvius when suddenly I slip, and I start to fall. Just falling, ahh ...ahh!!, I'll never forget the terror. When suddenly I realize "Holy shit Hansel!, haven't you been smoking Peyote for six straight days, and couldn't some of this maybe be in your head? ...And it was. I was totally fine. I've never even been to Mount Vesuvius."
