Thanks for your comments on "Female Rubythroat and Zinnas". I appreciate them. Helps keep the creative fires burning to know that people appreciate your work.
Happy New Year from Arizona! Thank you very much for all the nice words at 'New Year's Resolution #1'! It does seem like the beach scenes do well here - so I'll see if I can manage to get some more to post here (I hope!)!
Toto_san, thanks for your generous comments on "Finch and Coneflowers". The secret is getting very close. I was able to get this pic at a local zoo where the wild goldfinches were habituated to people being close. This bird was probably about 20 feet away. Then there is waiting for the perfect pose, which is made possible by the digital revolution. When I was using slide film, I may have taken 2 or 3 shots. Now with digital I can take 20 or 30 and select only the best to share...
Hello!
Thank you for your feedback on 'Children'. Yes, the c-index is very low. Maybe because it is a scanned photo...
The most important is the number of downloads. 940 is an high score for a people capture :-)
Hi Toto - thanks for your comments on Chatsworth - and the postwork is often as much fun as taking the photograph. I have increased saturation and sharpening in this one as it was such a dull day! :)

Thanks a lot for leaving some comments to my photo/desktops during this week :-)
Realy apriciated. Checking, i see you are from Hungary... do you have some images shot from Budapest ? i would like to see them since i plan to go there next summer.
Thanks for now,
I found this to be a compelling sculpture at the time. Perhaps the visit to Dachau has made me a little subjective, but I had this photo amid the Colosseum, Statue of Liberty, the Colossus of Stalingrad, and the Cosmonautics Memorial Statue of Moscow on my office wall for a number of years.
If I were still in the workplace, I would probably build a screen saver with these photos now that they are digitized. My desktop has been Messier 51 for about 15 years.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
And thank you so much for the comments you've left on other pictures in my gallery, it's great when images are re-visited! I very much appreciate you taking the time to look at my work.
Thank you sir for nice words you left on Rabbit Hutch 2. Truly appreciated and how nice to meet you. I'll check out you gallery when I get the time. Have a good weekend.
Toto, Thanks so much for very kind comment. It made me smile and I find it to be a real compliment based on your photographs. I really love your work, thanks so much. :)

Thanks Toto for liking "Southern Charm Charleston Style" many of the homes date back to pre civil war days and the town still looks like right out of "Gone with the Wind"
Hello There Toto
Thank you kindly for your comments on "Pretty 2" The sun was shining very brightly when I took that photo and the flower seems to reflect that brightness. I'm glad you like it!

Hi Toto, thank you for the nice comment on my bee photo. I took that last Spring while sitting in my chair on my back deck. I used my Canon 100mm macro lens which I had to sell, but I am going to buy another one this spring. I want to turn my attention to flowers and insects while still posting a bird photo or two.
