Thanks Sherri for the nice comments on my Catfish Yawn image. I'm glad that you liked the view. He did a big yawn as he swan towards the glass. Just a lucky shot.

Hi Sherri! I'm glad that you took time to view and comment on my Voguing Squirrel image. He's been eating pecans, walnuts and apples as well as the bird seed. He just has his stomach sucked in for the camera. Glad you like the practice shot. I'm getting the feel of the camera now and starting to get some shots that I like.

Hello Sherri. My 07 Dragonfly image was some experimentation using an extension with my 135mm lens. I'm still trying to improve on the quality of macro images with my XTi and inherited lenses. Thanks for your support and comments.

Hey Sherri..thanks so much for your comments on "Cathedral" and "Fence"...I agree, there are some shots that work in B&W and some that don't. I thought it worked well in this one, especially because the grass wasn't very green!!
Hello again...thanks for your thoughts on "One Tree"...I'm glad you liked it and I'm happy I can remind you of where you grew up, which really isn't that far from me.
Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.

Thanks for the kind comments on my gallery, i don't know how to return the compliment without sounding kinda lame, but it definitely deserves it. you have an excellent eye for composition, and i can see as you learn more photoshop skills the technical quality improves
My Humpback Mystery Bug image was taken near Round Oak, Ga. I've never seen one of these before and now I know it's a Bee Fly. Thanks Sherri for the kind comments.

Thanks Sherri for taking the time to view and comment on my After the Rain image. I'm glad you liked it. The background is looking down the driveway during the rain. The spider web has to be strong to hold a thrashing bug.

Good afternoon Sherri. Thanks for viewing and commenting on my Flirting 2 image. It's a Green Anole and they live in trees, shrubs, vines, and tall grasses. These lizards can often be found on fences and walls. Green anoles are also known as chameleons because they can quickly change color from green to brown. Thanks for the nice comments.

Hey there Sherri..thanks for having a look at "Golden Fields" and "Barn"...I really love that area, its amazing that a place like that exists amongst the hustle and bustle of life around here.

Hi Sherri.
Thank you for your kind words on Before the Thunder.
Though the air was full of electricity, the clouds carried only a little rain. Empty barrels make the most noise, it seems... ;-)

Hey Sherri..thanks for your comments on "Farley, My Boy 2" and "Meadow B&W"...what kind of dog do you have? This guy is a 7 year old Cocker-Poo (although he thinks he's more like 2!!)

Just a fun shot. Being a Northwester, you know what great opportunities there are for great posts. This is along the Northern Oregon Coast. And after viewing your gallery, you really have some great shots too. Happy Shooting Sherri.
Hey Sherri..thanks for your thought on "Multiply"...it does kinda look like its lit from underneath, I didn't really notice that! I'm glad you liked my little experiment!!

....thanks for "Guardian" also! I agree that its not a typical pet snapshot. It was my intention to get away from that sort of thing with my 'Farley' posts recently. And I'm really glad you liked this in B&W!!! I think I'm bringing you over to our side of non-color...at least for a little while!!

Hi Sherri, thanks for your comments on 'the Roaches' - and yes I did have knee surgery, but my knee is not right even now, but I do not let it stop me walking up hills - I think it is probably good physio. I have a hiking stick to help me and a friend! :)

Hi Sherri, Thanks so much for the lovely comment on hydrangea. I have a blue one and a pink one too and in two years they haven't flowered yet. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hey Sherri...thanks for your comments on some of my recent posts..."Excuse Me, Flo? 2" was definitely worth the scary hike back to the car and I'm really glad you liked it!! I agree the farmhouse came out too dark. For "Breathe"...it's so interesting to hear what people thought the reason I gave it that title...I did have a tripod and the only reason I named it Breathe, was because that was the title of a song I was listening to at the time...kind of a trick question, but it let me hear what people thought about it without explicitly saying so!!
