Kia Ora Maria, I am so pleased you like Blue Blue Moon, and thank you for such a lovely comment. It growns in my garden - the scent is divine, and sometimes in certain lights it does look blue, although I think Lilac Moon would be a better description for the original :)

Thanks for commenting on my post "Moon Over Minnesota". Actually the horizon level it is the hidden opposite shore of our lake that makes it look off. I'll try your advise and adjust it in Photo Shop and see if it improves the look. Thanks for the hint and help.

I saw this done in a life magazine that was in the newspaper back in June. I thought this would be a good effect for the current contest. My Fall State Fair was taken at the Perry, Ga fair at iso 50, F11 and a 6 second exposure. Thanks Maria for the nice comments and support.

Fabulous to hear from you again, Maria. Big "THANK YOUS" for your generous words on "green at heart" shot. The moment I spotted it I thought it deserved my attention and careful study... Thanks for the comment on Camping is Fun. The problem with the original is that the faces are too clear. I don't think too many people are interested in having pictures of people they don't know on their backgrounds. The effect I was going for sort of depersonalizes the image and increases the atmosphere a bit. That way anyone can relate to it.
