Hi, Matt, thanks for the comment on Brandywine 7. I appreciate your taking time to stop by and glad you like the pic. The name of the stream is Brandywine Creek and of course the falls are Brandywine Falls. The falls are quite large, the pic only shows part.
Thanks Matt for viewing and commenting on my Caedes Sunset photo. I was just trying a few things out in Photoshop and this was the result. I'm glad that you like it. I just now noticed what appears to be a face in the cloud above the spider.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hi Matt...thanks for the comment on I'll Just Sit A Spell...yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw that bear sitting that way but apparently he does that all the time...what a laugh.:Pat.
Hello Matt. Sorry it has taken me so long to respnd to your comments on "Studio Orchids". Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate them. I've been traveling quite a bit and not been in a position to keep up.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Thanks Matt for your comments on "Desert Sunrise" I love to photograph there it has drawn me back each spring for 14 years now and each time it's just a little different.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Thanks again Matt. You know I still can't take credit for the scuplure, "Blue Angel", but I appreciate your comments. My biggest regret is that I shot the image with a low-resolution camera, so there is a limit on how large I can print it :-( Oh well, now I have a professional rig maybe I can get more good stuff.
The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was, is lost, for none now live who remember it. -Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring

Matt, thank you for the beautifully lyrical words on Lady Sings The Blues. I can't tell you how they touched my heart. Thank you for such a lovely gift, hon.

Give me a few friends
who will love me for what I am,
and keep ever burning
before my vagrant steps
the kindly light of hope...
And though I come not within sight
of the castle of my dreams,
teach me to be thankful for life,
and for time's olden memories
that are good and sweet.
And may the evening's twilight
find me gentle still.
