Hah hah! Thanks for your compliments on "The Refiner's fire. The fact that half my face is not visible in that pics lends more of an illusion of simetry. But I appreciate the compliment. They'd have to work the camera angle's at Klein on me in order to not scare off their customers...

Thank you for your nice comment of Where Eagles Soar Vanda. Sorry no creds today..for some reason after I used 3 it said I had no more. I thought they replenished them every day. I hope you are not too heartbroken over it..smile!
Glad you dropped by for a visit at my Coco Plum Cabana Vanda! Hope you had a fun time, the door is always open you are Welcome back anytime! I took this picture because I liked the color combination of the blue chairs and coco plum
Hi Vanada, everyone keeps asking if 329 is the moon so now I just say "329" really is my land claim on the moon. I was keeping it hush hush to get in early and grab up a premium location before the moon rush begins...thank you for your kind words!
Hi Vanada! glad you took the "Steep Climb" and didn't get carsick! the road runs right beneath many great mountains including the highest in the state (14,433 foot Mount Elbert), and rises well above the treeline into the stark Alpine tundra zone, while also passing lakes, rivers, steep-sided valleys, thick forests of fir and extensive aspen groves. Highway 82 is usually open for only six months of the year, from late May to late October, I appreciate your wonderful comment very much! Your traveling friend, Diane
Thank you for enjoying "Twilight in the Tropics" Vanda it is for the contest and I read you can't use one already in your gallery. Lord knows I've got enough water photos to sink a battle ship
I agree with you Vanda I dislike snow Colorado is too cold for me in the winter. I don't ski, hate to shovel snow and wear heavy winters coats, That is a big reason why I moved down south. The heated outdoor pool and hot tubs were heavenly with great views . Thank you for your lovely comment about "Grand Timber Lodge"
Thanks Vanda for adding "Drying Out" to your faves and for the comments. Much appreciated and glad you liked the photo. I was lucky the butterfly was drying out its wings and in no mood to fly off. I was able to take my time when taking the photos. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Thanks Vanda for your comments on "One Tree" and "Then there Were Three". Glad you enjoyed the photos. The person was working in the scene and didn't have much time for navel gazing. I was originally going to title the other shot "three sisters", since there are related. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Hello Vanda...Many thanks for taking the time to view (CHURCHYARD)and for your lovely comments,it is very much appreciated....The architecture of churches and grave stones are very photogenic....I also like to learn about the history of the very old graveyards...Thankyou again....All the very best to you Vanda........Mick.
Thanks Vanda for your comments on "Same Tree Twice" and Bones of the Fallen". Glad you enjoyed the photos. I was trying more for irreverence in my narratives, must be doing something wrong. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Hey Vanda, thanks for your comments on "I Got it Backwards" and "Lilyvale". The focus was soft and in the wrong place on the Lilyvale photo. The painting effect made it a better image. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell
Hi Vanda, thanks for your comments on "F Grade". Too open to be sitting and pondering, everyone and their dog walks by interrupting the process. And there's no backrest for a proper lie back... Have a great day. ~Wendell
Hi Vanda, thanks for your comments on "Waiting" and for your imaginative answer. I hadn't considered the Neytiri when I saw the face. Glad you enjoyed the image. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell
Hi Vanda, thanks for your comments on "Whole Lot of Green". Glad you enjoyed the scene. You can blame the tone mapping for the blackness of the stream. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Thanks Vanada for enjoying my sweet treat, if you ate everything in the picture it would come to 3 million calories and 1500 lbs of chocolate..it took them 500 hours to make it. Sorry I have not commented much lately I simply got all photo'ed out.
Thanks for looking at my fancy white car Vanada..I don't take many car pictures so I thought I would post one for a change. I would rather have a fast sports car then an old one like this..
Thanks Vanda for commenting on one of my favorite landscapes of the American "Wild West". . Towering monoliths exist within a vast plateau-and-canyon panorama. You can experience sheer-walled, red rock canyons along the twists and turns of Rim Rock Drive, where you may spy bighorn sheep and soaring eagles. Most tourists go to the well known Parks but this little out of the way jewel you can explore without any crowds
Peace in the Valley What I like to do is look online at log cabin designs just for fun. Some of them are so beautiful! I would like one about 1500 sq ft on one level with a mountain or lake view nestled among the evergreens but not too many since I would like the cabin to be bright and cheerful in the day time. I don't like dark and deary homes. You are welcome to drop by anytime Vanda...just as long as you have bear proof trash can they won't be hanging around
Yes the shot was from behind, some of the stones are still legible but really old and only a couple. The place is sooo eerie, very dark and mysterious. Angie :)
It's been awhile and I've missed so many awesome posts by my friends. :) I will begin posting some pics from my most recent trip soon. Thank you for your kind words. I just love your posts!
