I have to confess though i dont agree with your comment about it being difficult to get cats to pose. For some reason unknown to me Shadow loves the camera and will actaully stay still and pose for as long as you want. Maybe she likes the attention dont ask me. She is a very regal cat though and she knows it. Shes very fussy and highly strung lol!!!

Thank you for the gracious comments on "Inspired." I drove past the little church, did a double take, and turned around at the next opportunity and returned for that photo. I was quite wet and cold - I'd forded a river a few hours earlier to shoot Fishhawk Falls, then got the elk photo, so it was the end of a long and tiring day. But very rewarding. Thanks for the comment on Desert Moonrise. Glad you liked the photo. In answer to your quesiton, the photo on Caedes is a scan of a 35 mm slide. Using Photoshop on the digital file, I increased contrast and color saturation and applied sharpening. However those really are not alterations, they are a normal part of working with digital images.

Hi, Jenn. Thanks for your nice remarks on "Cocoon!" Have you heard of the software "Window Xe?" It's a automatic Wallpaper changer which allows you to change Wallpapers at set intervals (i.e. every five minutes to every hour to every day, etc.) That way you don't have to manually rotate your favorite wallpapers. It's pretty inexpensive. I have it set to change my wallpaper every ten minutes. Comes in handy when I have a file filled with beautiful Caedes Wallpapers...<G>

I am truly humbled by the way you followed the series to the end. I have often made the decision, to leave Caedes but the enthusiasm that you ( and others) show for my images has kept me here. This is my fourth or fifth series that I have posted. Although the responses have always been good, NONE has received the wonderful responses that Antelope Canyon has.This series had brought back many memories of Annie and my trek through this magical place. When I posted my last image and shut down the series, which was difficult to do, I felt that I had said goodbye to an old friend. Thank you, my new friend, for the nice comment on Sunlight In The Forest.. I truly appreciate it.. I am fairly new at all of this, this camera is the first I have had in over 30 years.. I took this and several others a few miles from where I live.. It is a very damp and swampy area, although we are going through a dry spell, and I was able to get fairly deep into the forest.. I am very pleased you enjoy my fractals, also..
