Hi Anna, i snapped Patience while walking at Patoka Lake where i live. They were a bunch of these around, can't hardly believe they never moved all night, cause if they had all the dew would have fallen off, that's where i got Patience from. Have a great evening, and thanks for commenting. Dwight,
Hey Anna, my friend......your lovely words to my sentimental walk' overwhelms me with pride! So glad you liked the result of my fall session in the park. There were so many people around I decided to build the whole concept of the capture around them.
Hi Anna- Thank you so much for your comments at my recent posts. Re: Goldenrod- My state flower is the Yellow Jasmine- one of the sweetest smelling flowers I know. Take care- Eileen

Thanks for commenting on Elegant Reflection. You are right that the oilification takes a special subject. You might want to check my Rum Island for one that seems popular. I find that the free program Paint.NET works very well for that effect.
Thanks Anna for the comments on “Got Fish” I spent the better part a day chasing Herons around the lake trying different lens / tele-converter combinations.

Kia Ora Anna, very many thanks for you generous comment on Calm Before The Storm, I was pleasantly surprised it got such good responses as it was one I was doubtful about posting :)
Always appreciate your visits and your thoughtful comments.
Have just seen your kind words on Not Quite, thanks also for that. :)

Glad you enjoyed "Red Leaves" and "I get a peaceful easy feeling.." Anna and appreciate the time you always take to comment and leave valuable input. You have such a nice way with words and I thank you so much. Anita

Hi Anna, thankyou for your lovely comments on "Purple Pazazz". The photo definitely isn't lying, in fact I don't think it does justice to the tons of jacaranda blooms there are around here at the moment. They're everywhere you look, my grandparents street has a purple carpet, drives them nuts having to sweep their driveway everyday. Anyhow, I just had a quick look in your gallery and you have some awesome pics in there. Have a great day, Kelcey.
Hi Anna, thanks so much hon for dropping Moonlir Tryst & commenting so nicely. It does look like chocolate, doesn't it ?! I really appreciated you taking the time ;o)
Hi Anna, thanks for your comments on 'The Last Punk Rocker'. You should have this in your area but, despite their bright colours, not always easy to find. This one was blown off a Sycamore I was parked under right onto my car windscreen by a gust of wind! Pure luck!!

Hi Anna, I'm delighted you enjuyed Tiger Stripes so much.' Scarce' is, I feel, a bit of a misnomer as most places I've come across it in the Med it is the commonest of the Swallowtails!
Re: the Thistle; botany is my weakest area I'm afraid so I wouldn't like to say if it is Melancholy Thistle or not. From memory the leaves looked more like Knapweed - but it was two years ago! If it's any help I took the image in June on Keffalonia, Greece.
Cheers,
Steve.

Hi Anna, thanks for the lovely comments on Winter afternoon and Rose bud 2 much appreciated.
I hope we get some snow too. Everything is so dark without snow. It is so dangerous with this under cold ice on the roads.
Have a great evening :)
Hello Anna. Thank you for stopping by to view and comment on "Just A Background". I like flowers and I just wanted to do something just a little bit different. Im glad you liked it.
Hi Anna. Hmmmmm It would appear that you are correct about this beautiful flower being an Anemone. I'm still pleased that you liked "Sleepy Head". I am also glad to be set straight and will try to be more careful in the future.
This image was taken several years ago and other than, where it was shot and when, I can remember it only being very beautiful.
Hello Anna, thanks for your great comments on Pasque Flower. I'm pleased it's one of your favourites too. I grow several of the Alpine species in my rock garden. The seed heads are just as interesting - like fluffy tassells!
Cheers,
Steve.
