Hi Andy,
Welcome to Caedes.
Thanks for commenting on "You look like dinner". I appreciate it!
I have a really good zoom on my camera. So I wasn't too close.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
So glad you paid a visit to my family of birds: ducks and a lonely seagull. In fact I am a bit worried about them. There were the first records of birds flue in Poland. I hope they won't catch it. Thank you very much for your warm comments.
It may be a surprise for you but I use Canon Powershot A80. So far satisfied with it, but seriously thinking of a new purchase.

Hello Andy...Thankyou for taking the time to have a look at.(CORNISH CEMETERY) very much appreciated...Believe it or not these places are wonderful for photography....Depending on the time of day...you can capture some terrific atmospheres...give it a try....All the best...Mick
Hello Andy...Thankyou for your comments on (BOSCASTLE) very much appreciated...I used a Cannon EOS 10D and a Cannon 17-40mm f4 lens with a conkin circular polarisor....hope this helps ...All the best...Mick.
Hey Andy thanks for viewing "Galleria". Do you have one down there as well. I've only been to two of them. This one in Birmingham Alabama and one that is in Houston Texas. The one in Texas had an ice rink in the center of it.
Wish to thank you for your kind remarks on "pussy willow". They are much apprecited. So glad you liked the colour scheme. It was my green bag acting as a background, can you believe.
Hello and good morning to you Andy....kind of you to PM me!
My present camera! (I've had this for 10 months) is a Panasonic Lumix FZ7
this has a whopping 12X optical zoom, and also has a decent wide-angle to it....
The beauty is...I dont carry any extra lenses around with this....All I use is an UV filter and a polarising filter..Thats it?........Most of my friends around where I live and we are in the same camera club....Have this Lumix!
I am upgrading to the new lumix FZ50, which has a 10.2mp processor and has the same 12X zoom but has the caperbilities to zoom out to 24X Wow! imagine that..you wont need the macro setting! just zoom in on a gnats backside! and it would look like yeah! ..you can imagine?
Hope that explains how my images are good...it's the camera! not me?
take care Bob
The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson

Thank You so much for the kind words on Sleepless in Germany.
I am really really happy to read that you liked my Pic and took the time to write such a nice comment.
Nice to see you Andy among ones who responded to "mating season". Your feedback is much appreciated. I suppose shameless beetles will never advance to the permanent gallery... What a waste for future generations...and biology teachers, lol.
Hi Andy, you look a bit scrambled up in that icon! lol! the lens I use is a Tamron 18-200 Aspherical XR DiII and a Canon EOS. I had an EOS 350D but have just upgraded to a 400D or XTi Rebel in the US. thanks for the comments on Mr Kookaburra - however you spell that! ...and thanks for the compliments on my photography :)

Hello Andy...you asked if I paint often. I used to paint a painting two or more times a week until about a year ago, and now I only paint one about every two to three weeks. I like to do it in one or two sittings because I like to work with the paint while it's wet. It's the most relaxing thing to do other than be next to the ocean..Thank you for your interest .Verena
