As you are hiding your user information oh.. no
I am not saying anything... Sorry Anupam.
Thank you Anupam for commenting on my La Cité in Carcassone. It's greatly appreciated.
I too hope that it will stay dry for a while so I can go out there again and make some pics, but else I've got a truckload of older pics! ;-)
Hi there, thank you for adding me to your friends list...I was going to say welcome to caedes but see you have been a member here a long time...in any case, I look forward to viewing more of your work.
Thanks Anupam for commenting on my Little Highlanders. It's much appreciated!
It was still slightly raining when I took this pic so that may be the reason it looks a bit off. Or maybe I am in need of a new cam.... hmmm let's try that one with my buddy! LOL
Hi Anupam it's me again. ;-)
Thanks also for your lovely words on Storm!
It was somewhat of a miracle that mother nature showed me that moment. For all I did to this pic was make the contrast a little higher and not even that much. Think that somewhere behind me the sun found a spot between the clouds and helped me take this shot! LOL
And thanks also for your kind words on Little Highlanders #2. The grass must be really yummy for sometimes I get the idea that they do nothing but eat! LOL
Thank you Anupam for your comments on 'A Friend' and 'Clever Kitty'. That bird has probably been around a lot of fisherman in that area and been given 'leftovers', so it is probably more tame than some'. Kate :)
Thanks Anupam for your nice words on Swans. Your comment is greatly appreciated.
The weather was indeed not on my side that day... it was very cloudy and about to rain.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Thanks Anupam for your comment on Nala and Moira. They are indeed very educated cats... I catch them watching TV, but reading books... don't know maybe! LOL
For now I'm the one reading Terry Goodkind.

Thank you for Anupam for your lovely words on Carcassonne in Orton. I am happy that you liked it and your comment is really appreciated.
Think that the sun was hiding behind the cloud. ;-)
Thanks Anupam
For you comments on my photo "St Botolph`s & Boston"
you've raised some good points — i took quite a few photo that day i `ll try & post one with a better view on the Tower.
Steve
Thank you Anupam for your lovely words on Le Grand Puits. I'm happy to hear that you liked it! When I'm on summer vacation in Southern France then 90% of the time the weather is as lovely as that. One of the reasons I go there... and of course the lovely rich architecture.
Thanks again.
Anupam
Seeing as the focal length of the picture of the leaf was at 60mm with an fstop of 2.8, that creates an extremely shallow dof. I a lot of times like it when there is such a small dof like in that instance because it actually seems to give more depth to something so small. Anyways, not the first time somebody has said they don't like it so I will keep that in mind in the future. Thanks for looking, always appreciated.
Thank you Anupam for your comments on 'On the Dunes', I am glad it is a nice change from the cold. Thank you also for your comment on 'Unidentified'. Kate :)
Thank you Anupam for your lovely comment on Australia #2. I too like the blue color of this one... I do not know however how my sister-in-law got this effect. This is the only shot with this effect... I do have a skyline of Sidney and will post it soon.
Thanks again.
Gabrielle
Thank you for your nice comment on Diner's ready! Well to be honest the title is what I said after I made this shot... well maybe not kids, but grownups can act like kids every now and then...
Hi there Anupam, many thanks for your quick response to Snowswept Ravine...very pleased you liked it...also appreciate your visit to Braving the Elements...glad to have your feedback.
