Hi April thanks for comment left at my posting White Tailed Deer 1. I appreciate it. I see you live in Vermount..you must have a lot of deer around your area...I did not have the focus set properly on my camera so deer is not as sharp as he could be...gerry.

... and thank you so much for leaving such generous remarks about 'Complex Encounters'. I really do appreciate them. Most of the colour in this (except a very little and the middle bit) was generated simply by layering black and white images and fiddling with the various layer modes. I didn't honestly know this would happen, so I also accidentally learnt something new making this. Being fascinated, I played around with it to see how I might intensify the colours just by layering mode tweaking and this is the result. I'm so glad you liked it.

Thanks for commenting on 'The Path Less Travelled III'. Your kind remarks are much appreciated as is your suggestion about the sharpness. I'm not quite sure what would help with that, but I'm thinking that enriching the colours might actually help with that too since it would make the basic fractal (which should be perfectly sharp) that much stronger and it wouldn't be that strong an effect which, as you point out, would probably be too much.

I'm so glad you enjoyed 'The Path Less Travelled VI' and appreciate your saying so - as always I'm happy you made time to comment. It's interesting that this one seems to be (some) people's favourite as I actually wasn't sure I would post this one at all. I really liked it colourwise but I wasn't sure what people might see (or not see) in it. It doesn't have a clear structure and I thought I might only be liking it because I'd stared at it for so long that I was bound to start seeing things in it which weren't there!
So it's especially good to get the feedback on this one.
