Fur-actal was actually made as a test with some new filters, and they seem to work! The idea was for it too be a massive composition where no part was the 'main' centre of attention.

... and thank you so much for leaving such generous remarks about 'Complex Encounters'. I really do appreciate them. Most of the colour in this (except a very little and the middle bit) was generated simply by layering black and white images and fiddling with the various layer modes. I didn't honestly know this would happen, so I also accidentally learnt something new making this. Being fascinated, I played around with it to see how I might intensify the colours just by layering mode tweaking and this is the result. I'm so glad you liked it.
