Almost Done...Lien, if you look to the left of my post, there is one pecan that is already coming away from the covering. Once the covering leaves, the pecans fall to the ground. Thanks again for coming by and your kind words. Have a great day.

Hi again Lien. During Allison I was actually visiting my brother in Chicago and couldn't get back to Houston for 3 days. The devastation to downtown was really terrible and I'm thankful that my home wasn't affected by it all. There were so many people that lost everything. Thanks for your very kind words and I'm so glad you came by to visit this post as well. Take good care. Anita

Hello Lien, thanks so much for your comments on "a wild morning glory" I really appreciate your interest in my images. I just love the parade floats of fruit and vegetables. I've never seen anything like that before. I hope you have more!
And thanks again, for visiting "the year was 1929". It took me some time to post this shot. I took it a little over a year ago and I finally decided what I wanted to do with it. I'm glad you enjoyed the results.
Thanks Lien for the comments on the picture “Claws” The Canon 1.4X tele-converter disables the auto focus on my 100-400mm lens. As you can see my manual focus skills aren’t what they should to be.
Thanks Lien for viewing and commenting on my picture”Monarch” I’m still trying to get proficient with the new macro setup. The manual settings are a little different for the 150mm than they were for the 105mm.
Hi Lien, thanks for the sweet and kind comments on A small waterfall and Alice 2 much appreciated. Yes I have that waterfall near me. About 4 mil from me.
Have a great day :)
Thanks for coming by Lien. The Texas Longhorn only gets one set of horns during its lifetime and a lot of people keep them when the animal dies. The "Checking You Out" post is actually a big lizzard of some kind at the Houston Zoo. She had a baby not far from her but it was hiding too much to get a good shot. Your kind words are always appreciated and it's nice to see you.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Kia Ora Lien, thank you for your kind comment on Swiss Alps.Lucerne was such a beautiful place. Unfortunately I was only there for a very short time. I would like to go back :)
Hey there Lien.......
Yeah, thanks for the warm welcome back!......I thoroughly enjoyed my time away....
and missed you all!.....Appreciate your visit to Church Seat!.....Bob
TRhankyou Lien for your comment onShakespeare's Birthplace. I did not go inside this one but did view the inside of Anna Hathaway's Cottage, one of my other pictures. It was so interesting to see and beautifully looked after but unfortunately photographs were not permitted :(
Thanks Lien for commenting on my picture “Lily White” This picture looks a-lot better on my flat panel monitor at home than it does on the CRT here at work.
Heaven only knows how old these trees are, at least a couple of hundred. I think they are oak trees and some of them around here are very, very old.

Good morning Lien...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (GREEN VALLEY) and for your comments, it is very much appreciated....It was nice to go for relaxing walks in this area....no hustle or bustle of built up areas...Thanks again....All the best....Mick.
Cheers Lien...Thunder-Sunset....was a really nasty downpour!....But, I was really *dry* in the safety of the 'bar'!.........;~))

Hi Lien and thanks for stopping by my recent posts. It's always so nice to see you've been there and I appreciate your always supportive comments. I tried several times to get a closer picture of the trumpet flowers but never got a good one. Will put that on my list for next year when they bloom again ;) Thanks again for always being so kind. Anita

Hello Lien! My Torrey Pines photo was taken just North of the hang glider port. It was kind of scary going to the edge of the cliff to get this shot. I'm glad that you like the view.

Kia Ora Lien, so pleased you liked my forgetmenots. Thanks for a great comment. Yes I hope to have some more of the Spring flowers, although the daffidils and hyacinths are now padt.
Hi Lien. My mom used to make a hazelnuss torte when we lived in Germany and it was delicious. The hazelnut is not as popular here in the States as it is in Europe so it was always a treat when she made it when I was young and we first came here. Thanks for always being so supportive of my posts. I really appreciate it. Anita

Kia Ora Lien, thank you so much for your comments on my recent pictures. I have not had time to reply individually but I do appreciate your views and am pleased that you have enjoyed looking.
Take Care
Eve

Hello Lien....Many thanks for your comments on (ACROSS THE SEA), they are very much appreciated...Yesterday I missed out on a beautiful sunset because I did'nt have my camera with me, never mind, I am sure their will be plenty more in the coming winter months....Thanks again....All the best...Mick.
Hello Lien my good friend!.......your kind words to my 'Market-Stick' overwhelms me with pride!.....When I did make these, and I always had pride in my work, and crafted these with a determination to make ithem, to the best of my ability!........I was with regret, that I had to give all this up, because of the problems with my hands!.....I still have a few in my collection, to remind me of those good-days!....however, I am now more than happy to continue with my first love! ....Photography!...........In all the time and the dozens of sticks I made....I 'NEVER' ever sold one!....Yes! I entered them in a lot of shows...and must admit, I did very well with 'Trophies' too! Money never entered my mind for these!...because I could never put a 'price' on them! I have been offered hundreds of pounds for one!, I always gave them away to friends or relatives...and donate some to various charities I was involved in!...so they could make some funds from them!......
Can I also say many thanks for all your kind comments to my other work too!....................Thanks.....Bob
Thanks Lien for viewing and commenting on my Hotlanta image. I'm glad that you like it. I had to do some Photoshop manipulations to increase the clarity and contrast. The lens was up against the window shooting in manual mode at iso100 f-11 1/160 of a second focused on infinity. I enjoy the challange of shooting through windows.

Hello Lien, thank you so much for the very kind comments you left on my recent posts from Spain.
The towers you see are called silos and hold feed for the animals. Generally it is a corn based sileage and it will see them through the winter. Groetjes ... Alexis
Thanks Lien for taking the time to comment on my picture “Old School Deep Green” It’s been fun using the old camera equipment I learned photography on some 25 years ago.
Thanks for the site Lien, my mum will love this site even though neither of us understand the language used (not quite sure which one it is). Navagating through the site will be hard but fun :)
My Images are much better than yours! :D? (CJ) Hold on, Back up. How the hell do you turn up missing?
(mahalik) Cause nobody knows where you are when they realise you ain't there!
(CJ) So your telling me you can appear and dissappear at the same time?
(Mahalik) You can appear and disappear at the same time man!
(CJ) But you can't be gone from one place and show up in another place at the same time, so when you turn up, your never missing, and when your missing, you never turn up!
(Mahalik) Unless, you a zombie!
(CJ) damnit that's some plausable (censor) right there! you should blog about it!
(Mahalik) I'ma put that on MySpace!
Please forgive me for not replying to every one of your lovely image and comments probleme with me is my poor english my language in french Rene de Rouyn-noranda
I was on the cliffs at Torrey Pines, Ca. when I heard voices overhead. Thrill Ride was a capture of the thrilling ride of those adventurous folks. Thanks Lien for the nice comments.

Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
