Hello Siris...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (STONEHENGE) and for your comments, it is very much appreciated.....It amazes me to why people from all over the world come to visit these stones...there must be something with the stones that attracts them...Thanks again....All the best...Mick.
Thanks for your comments on both "Isis Resplendent" and "Artemis in Autumn". I'm thinking of doing more God/dess walls in the near future, so stay tuned!
How nice you dropped by to leave a nice comment about "towards the sun", Sirus. Thank you so much for your visit. I found this gorgeous flower in a small botanical garden. I didn't know I would find there such beauties in full blossom in October! Vivid colors made me cruise with my camera for over an hour...
Nice to see you browsing through my gallery, my friend. You found my winter captures so appealing. Thank you so much for your warm feedback on "together". To tell you the truth I don't miss winter yet. It is gradually getting colder... Mornings are truly cold and we have more and more rain (and even snow) during the day. Soon we'll have winter in Poland.
You know, I thought of making "Window Into Sepia Swamp" a black and white and I still could. I might just mess around with it. Thks for commenting.

Sirus, Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your input on my postings. You are so faithful to respond. I just checked your gallery. i don't see any new postings. Are we sleeping on the job? Ha!

Hey tnx for stoping by & giving your opinions on my Aspang castles images. Glad you like 'em. Btw, your shot "oh the sun" really is super. Keep sharing, Paul.

It makes me happy that you like the mythological series so far. :) Thanks for your comment on "Apollo", that image went through lots of changes until I was finally happy with it.
Hi Sirus,
Thks for looking a couple of my compositions tonight. I appreciate your interest. Your commentary is always uplifting and appropriate. Thks.

I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Thanks for your comment on "From A Gypsy"! Glad yoy liked it. I also wanted to say, thanks so much for checking my work out it really makes me feel special.
Yes, I am a tree lover, you must have realized it by now. So here is a nice poem to accompany my photo and to thank you for your warm feedback:
“I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray,
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair
Upon whose blossom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems were made by fools like me
But only God can make a tree.”
/by Joyce Kilmer/
The Barbary Apes on the Rock of Gibraltar, you were so kind to visit Sirus, are actually tail-less monkeys - the only free-roaming monkeys in Europe. It is presumed the apes were imported as pets from North Africa during the early days of the British garrison. Soon they found the rough limestone cliffs and scrub vegetation a nice habitat. They are very sociable but inquisitive at the same time, fooling around in crowds of tourists to get some food.

Tnx again m8 for your comments on my St.Charles Church shot & on "Lighted Clouds". Glad u liked 'em & i appreciate a lot you pozitive thoughts. Tnx... Paul
I would love to send you many many smiles, some giggles, and a tear or two, all generated by the heartwarming words of friendship and positive reinforcement of my efforts at microscopic photography, lol...your raves at “oak patterns” really made my heart flutter. I managed to get such a vivid closeup thanks to mother nature, natural sunlight and finally my tripod and lot of patience.
Many thanks for your favorable review of clouded skies. It happens more and more often that the sun is hiding behind some impressive and threatening clouds, which I am lucky to observe from my bedroom window.
Lotsa thanks for floating by and checking out “crying rose”. I can't say how much I appreciate your visit and I am sure our elegant beauty queen is even more grateful for your comforting words. She was most pleased to receive such a warm welcome.
I appreciate your comment on "Alfa & Omega"... "the beauty of the distruction"? hehe... the shot might have a beauty in this distruction, but it'll be a horrible sight, a sight that our eyes can't bear, but if we chose right... bring on "the party"!!! :P Cheers, Paul

Warm sun and high temperatures have painted leaves till the very last days of October. They have colored softly Lazienki Park to make it one of the most colorful and visited places in the city center of Warsaw. I am glad you were determined to visit this place with me. Thank you so much for your gracious remarks, Sirus. Stay tuned.
Thank you Sirus for your opinion on '~STEPS~'....The programme I used. is somewhat difficult to work......I will have to get used to it a bit more, for further posts!, I think!....
appreciate your time.......Bob
Thanks for commenting on Treeeeeeeeees!! :-) glad you enjoyed them, i wish i lived near scenery like that but it was taken near my friends house in Scotland which is a LONG way from here! damn shame!
Hey Sirus, thanks so very much for the great comments you left on 2 of my new posts!! I really appreciate it and I am so glad you enjoyed them both!! ~abby
Hello Sirus
Thank you so much for liking my Wispy Phormium. It's nice to know someone else appreciates art! It was and is one I'm proud of, so I'm just leaving it in my gallery! Kate
“Praise the light of late November,
the thin sunlight that goes deep in the bones.
Praise the crows chattering in the oak trees;
though they are clothed in night, they do not
despair. Praise what little there's left:
the small boats of milkweed pods, husks, hulls,
shells, the architecture of trees. Praise the meadow
of dried weeds: yarrow, goldenrod, chicory,
the remains of summer. Praise the blue sky
that hasn't cracked yet. Praise the sun slipping down
behind the beechnuts, praise the quilt of leaves
that covers the grass: Scarlet Oak, Sweet Gum,
Sugar Maple. Though darkness gathers, praise our crazy
fallen world; it's all we have, and it's never enough.”

Thank you for your heartwarming words of friendship and positive reinforcement of my efforts at "November impressions", Sirus. I am looking forward to your next visit.
Thanks Sirus for your lovely words on my 'private' beach! It is a lovely place and I'm sure you'd love being there - got the lot (minus heat-wave I'm afraid)! Kate
Hey sirus! thanks so much for your kind comment on "innocence" it was sharper, but i applied a water color (i think...i lose track of them sometimes..) filter to it. if you would like i could upload the original sometime so you could see it with out the manipulation..thanks again, glad you like it!! ~abby

Hi Sirus
The yellow colours on the rocks is actually a lichen - it takes years and years to grow! Our natural rock just has lovely pinks and greys and greens and is called gneiss. Thanks and glad you like it! Kate
Hi there Sirus ! Thanks so much for commenting on Smoke and Mirrors so nicely. I'm so glad you liked it ! It's always so nice when someone takes the time to comment on an older image, like visiting an old friend.
Lauren
Hi Sirus! Ialso liked the glass around the electrical connections! Actually it was a real exercise in taking a shot in low light, but keeping it clear and sharp! Thanks for looking in! Kate
Thanks Sirus - glad you liked the pic of the shore! It sure was wild and windy! They say it is going to get worse this weekend! So that means we will be cut off - again. Thanks so much for dropping in! Kate
Hi Sirus!
Maybe I should take one of those stress measurement tests and see how well I do! I'm glad you like my slightly crazy washing the sand picture. I realize it has a weird look with the water rushing back and sucking the sand with it, but I thought others might find it interesting too. Thanks for looking in again - it is always nice to see you. Kate
Thanks sirus for commenting on HW 101. I don't exactly know where it was. It was at one of the rest stops. I love sunsets. Thank again and hope the new year is treating u well...
What a delight it was to open my page and find you viewing and sharing your thoughts and comments with me about “Dunajec castle II”, my dear Sirus. I was glad to find this place in such unusual weather conditions. The castle with a sky above as if brewing up for a storm looked mysterious surrounded by the dark menacing waters …
Thanks Sirus for your great comments on my old waterfall picture. You were the only one to see that I had 'made' the old colour, to soften the image. It was a really old negative which I scanned it, but the black and white looked too harsh, so I softened the tones. Thanks for noticing! Have a good weekend! Kate
Hi Sirus
Lovely to see you as always! The sculpture photo was taken early evening in London. I'm glad you like it that I've kept it dark and quiet. The crescent on her hip is actually the end of a dolphin's tail. The original was in portrait form and I just cropped it and left the result like this. They are both on top of dolphins and a column base outside the old church. The ivy just finished it off. Kate
