Hi Andrew, I got your e-mail and my exact words were "Wow ..why the heck isn't this one caedes". My impression is that it's not on caedes.net, right? If it is then ...its going into the favorites. Very good man and I like the black and white version to ...cool feel in both of them.

thanks for the comment on weekday roses, agree with the soft focus on that particular rose. but it made for a better matte print (wasnt originally made for submission)
Tks Andrew for your comments on Surprise. I am glad you liked it. It was difficult to get a crisp shot as it was windy. But I like it all the same.

About " A Silent conversation" I used "Neat image" for post editing..
Bad mistake because of the weakness for grass this prg has..
So you are right! thanks for your comments!
hi andrew, thank you so much for your pleasant comments on my fractal « jon doe » image , i am glad you enjoyed it. thanks for taking the time and for your kind support. hope to hear from you again. have a nice day. :-)
Andrew. Your support means a great deal to me image or none. I am here this time for the great big thank you I want to say to you for making the effort today to comment on 34 Years Strong. I spent much time concerned for coming up with the right post. That feeling completely went away once I read your comment. Thank you.
Thanks again for the pic. And yes, I'm a California girl. I was born here and will probably stay here forever, I'm in the central vally. Have a nice week,

Hi Andrew. Thank you for the honest review and comment on "Ring Around the Rosie". I agree. For me the question to post or not was whether it was too busy or disorganized? It did sit in a hold file for a long time. I liked the texture and color so I took a chance. Thank you for seeing my work in there and as always for the encouragement forward.
Hi Andrew. I just wanted to tell you how much I like and how creative it is that you give your flowers in your images like real names ..I couldn't go around and comment very picture so I thought I would just tell you here. ..Just thought that was neat.

I'm not defending my work because you can have your opinion thats fine but this just doesnt make since. You say that it is creative (my image "Falling Up") but you dont like it being upsidedown... If it wasnt upsidedown it would only be sepia ..thats not that creative...? ..and how do you know that you like the original? Because its not psoted. haha ...doesnt really make since. But thanks for the sharing of opinion and comment.

Thank you for the nice comments on "Help me through this strange world" ...it is not so much a story behind the title and image it is just the meaning ...talking about how upside down the world is in these times.. (I hope I can get through too!) and i was not on a boat or anything ..for the water is just a creek (perfect example is my image The River of Styx II) and i was on the other side of it when this was taken. Thank you again.

Hi Andrew! Thanks for the comment on "Caged" I'm glad that you liked it. I see what you mean regarding the shadows. I think it has to do with the way I put the image together. The lights had to be put on before the front part of the image, so I think that may have caused the incorrect shadows.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the comments on "Misty Morning" glad you liked it. It is very peaceful there. I've just posted another from the same spot called "Muskoka Reflection", which was taken just to the right of the misty morning shot, check it out.

Hey Andrew, thank you so much for the nice comment on Sifnos, I'm glad you liked it, it's a picture i especially like because it brings back memories from my summer vacations but i think you are right, it is a bit too dark. You have a nice gallery, I especially like "true love first kiss", soooooo cute!
Thanks, Andrew..for stopping by to see A New Day...glad you like it...not sure about a larger version...I'll see what I can do but I won't be able to upload for a couple days anyways...thanks again. : Pat.
Hello Andrew! My Dandelion Sunset photo was an unplanned event. I went to photograph the sunset and decided to see what I'd get with a low telephoto macro shot. I'm glad that you like the results and I appreciate your support. This opens up some good image possibilities.

Hello Andrew! Thanks for the nice comments on my image. This Macon Sunset 22 image was a quick grab shot after getting up from taking my Dandelion Sunset photo. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Thanks very much for your comments on "New Life" and "Orange". You're correct, I have taken a great liking to my new plaything. Look forward to more tomorrow.
thank you Andrew for your comments on "Splish - Splash I Was Takin A Bath". I really appreciate it.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Good morning Andrew
Many thanks for your appreciative comments on "Unwelcome visitor". When I read the quote from Psalms that follows your comments, I was immediately reminded of Ecclesiastes chapter 3, verses 1 to 8 - "To every thing there is a season,...".
Enjoy your day

Andrew.
Thanks for stopping by my Aspens and Spring image. I am pleased to know that you also have a place to go to think and be to alone. I think that everyone needs a "quiet place"

Hello Andrew, so very nice of you to comment on "An Orange Beauty"!! I appreciate your kind words. This image is so full of color, lifts my spirits and I hope that it does this for others! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi again, and thanks for your liking and commenting on "Compassion"! I think you are right about the brightness in upper left hand corner. It is funny because there was no sunshine that day, in fact it was rather grim! However, I have noticed that some of my best shots are taken on days like that. It's hard to be a lite reader, I find. I kind of take my chances! Thanks again! Sincerely, Marilyn

Hello Andrew, tks to you and to your wife for liking Side Profile for Liz!
I wanted to try something new with that angle, and it worked out well!

Hi Andrew, thanks so much for the so complimentary words! Very flattering indeed. I do love colors, close-ups and what I call personality inf flowers! Great fun! I thank you this time for "Summer Color"! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hey Andrew, tks again for visiting another one of my images.
Chrysanthemum #2 was put into a cloned background for the frame, then just played with the colours to compliment the image!

Hi Andrew..good to see you around. You are missed. Thanks for the warm words you left me for ~on the rocks~. Just a garden variety lily that likes it new home in the rocks! I am glad that you were able to enjoy it with me.! :))

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hi Andrew. Arne and I are both very happy to see you again. We've been worried about that bud, but no more. Your comment and actual choice to use it tickles us and we are most grateful you let us read such a fine statement of support. Just one question, didn't that take all your ink? lol
For the gracious comment on "Sculpture 1 - Collab.," we also warmly thank you.
Hello. We are back. Thanks so much. We are humbled by your applause for "Tagetes-Collab." Sometimes the very best comments are the least wordy ones. ;) Most sincerely, Us.
Quirky is perfect! Just what I was after. Sorry, but they are pink and I wouldn't dare offend their courage and freedom to be quirky by changing it for post. I can offer you another color in email though? lol Steve was very gracious. I had fun with that one. Thank you.
Hi Andrew! Thanks for peeking in & leaving such kind words on ~decorative pilings~. There was a tanker ship just to the left of this image which didn't give me the option to center more. I looked at the shot after we got home & decided "what the heck"! I am a risk taker & the reflections were so good, I wanted to show them off! Let me know how the ticker is doing.....good to hear from you. Miss seeing you around! Your support, comments/critique are deeply appreciated :~)
Hello, I just now saw your comment on my Pink Dogwood Blossoms photo. I thank you so much for such a nice one too. I appreciate that a lot....Im not sure why I didnt respond before this....but thank you agaIn....verena
Ah, Andrew my friend,,,,,thank you for the nice warm fuzzy words you left on my images ~belief~, ~serenity~ and ~orchid water~ You are a great boost to my ego, but I also know that you will critique honestly, so it is nice to know that someone really sees the work that is done. I only wish I could have bottled the scent from the orchid show for you & your wife. It was absolutely heavenly. I am glad that you were able to enjoy the visual part at least. Your continued support is deeply appreciated ;=)
Well hi there Andrew! How nice to see your name pop up on an image of mine! Hope this finds you & your wife well.
Thanks for stopping by the image ~dawn awakening~. Unfortunately, I did not take this delightful shot......several of us were invited to re-work one image and then critique them. This was the result of my re-work :)
I learned a lot from participating in this exercise~
