Hi there...Welcome to caedes...hope you have fun here...also want to thank you for your visit and nice comment on A Picturesque Picnic...glad to know you liked it...no, unfortunately we couldn't take the time to picnic there ourselves that day...btw, you have some lovely shots to begin your gallery here.:Pat.
Wow! I had no idea that this area was here. Sorry to have ignored everyone. I have enjoyed this site for over a year now, but I just recently started posting some pics. Thanks for the compliments.
Hi Sheri...thanks so much for dropping by and leaving nice comments on both Fall Fishing and Beauty and the Bridge...glad you enjoyed them and I appreciate your visits..:Pat.
Sheri;
Thank you very much on your input and advise on my Maid of the Mist image. I have been swamped with requests to stay in Caedes. I never knew that I had that many viewers. Caedes also contacted me and we discussed issues that have been bothering many members. He has assured me that he will look into these issues and make some changes. Your PM meant a lot to me as far as deciding if I would stay or not. Your words were very strong in favor of my staying so I will give it another try and stay for awhile to see if theses changes happen. Thank you.
I also live in Aurora (Colorado). Where is your Aurora?

Thanks Sheri for the very nice comments on my Amicalola Creek 2 image. If you take a close look, you can see the early signs of Fall. I'm glad that you like it. This was in open shade taken at iso 50, f11 and about 1/20 exposure. I also used a slow fill flash to lighten the shadows.

Hi Sheri, many thanks for stopping by to view "A Wooden Crossing"! I am so glad you liked it! When I took this shot, I knew nothing about shooting landscapes. I just tried it and will keep on trying this type of photography, but I really am more confortable with flowers, much more practice is needed I guess! Smiling! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Sheri!!

Hello Sheri. I'm glad that you took the time to view and comment on my Mountain Stream Beauty image. Thank you for the nice comments. I appreciate your support. I would have gone farther up stream but the large rock out cropping on the left stopped me.

I really appreciate your comment about my ORegon Coast photo...it means a lot when someone truly loves a scene ...thank you so very much. And I sure know the feeling of eating clam chowder at Mo's YUMMMMM...
Hi thanks for your comment on "Great Egret Take Off". I bought the Canon Digital Rebel about a month ago and I am very happy with it. I just bought the Tamron 200-400mm lens and a descent tripod, which allowed me to get this image. You get a lens focal length multiplication factor of 1.6x with this camera because of the ccd size compared to 35mm film plane size. This allows for great telephoto capability with affordable lens for birds and animals.
Just put a bird feeder up and they will worry more about the Jays than you. Believe me I have lots of empty tree branch pics too. Thanks for visiting 'Fox Squirrel in Autumn'.
Hi 'Mum' Kindest regards for your comments to my image 'Heather Dales'.....This part of the country where I live is an absolute haven for photographers.. We have it all.....scenery- coastal- castles-lakes N' lochs!
Thank you
Thanks for the nice comments on "Dalia Bend.So glad that you liked it..Also thanks for the comments on "Park Bridge".I dont know about rules either or even think about them when taking a photo...Rob
Hi,
thanks a lot for your nice words on "November sky".
It was made in Massachusetts, town of Nahant. You have some impressive sunset in your gallery from Oregon. This is such a beautiful state.
Thanks for the comment on "Magnolia Plantation: Shaded Path" It's in Charleston, South Carolina. They had really extensive botanical gardens, complete with a maze and wildlife refuge. It's definitely a nice place to visit :)
Hi Sheri,
I'm so glad you like my Hibiscus, Thank you for the nice words. As for the tea, you'd have to ask Verena, she knows a lot about these things.
Thank you for your comments on "At the Giants Feet". I'm glad to hear that you have visited the Painted Hills. It's quite a beautiful place if you can get there when the lighting is good.
I generally shoot them in the early morning or late afternoon.
I hope you can go back and get some interesting imagaes.
Many thanks for your input to First Snow Sheri, No snow there!....plenty here at the moment but slowly going...not quick enough for me though!
Regards.....Bob
Thanks for your comment on Echo Park. I'm glad this manipulation caught your eye. I got into manipulation when I became obsessed with at least framing in PhotoFilter. Thanks also for the opportunity to visit your gallery. Your work is magnificent.
Thanks for commenting on Roswell. They museum was very interesting. It had a few contrivances but mostly it dealt with facts of events that lead you to conclusions that are still openended.
Hi Sheri, and thank you for your kind comment on "Big Wheel 2". I was only in London for a couple of hours that day (this was shot while walking from the station to a meeting) so I didn't get to go on the Eye this time. I've been on it before, though, and you get some great views :-)
Thanks for your comments on my "A River Runs Through It" photo. I wish the clouds would have co-operated more, they were trying. Cleared up more later but it was too late by then.
i also climbed. one of these days i'll post a photo looking down the steps. wasn't it neat up there? try climbing the one at Hunting island SC. you'll love it. thanks for commenting........jen
Hi Sheri, thanks for the positive feedback on the Sedona lanscape picture. Believe it or not, this was taken on film, not a digital photo. I'm surprised by the positive response. I thought this one was just okay. Thanks again!

Thanks for the comments on "Chilling." If you like these just wait till spring. I will be running through the mountains camera in hand going berserk. You are in Oregon you should have some good photo ops too. Oregon is very pretty.
Thanks for the comments on 'In The Waters of Joran 7'. If you have Terragen, Universe, and Photoshop, and know how to vaguely use them, your imagination can create all the beauty you see at this site, plus much more!

Hello Sheri....Thankyou for your comments on (DAFFODILS) it is very much appreciated....This is the best shot of six....Cornish daffodil farms are some of the largest and most efficient in the world, supplying flowers and bulbs to all parts of the UK, to Continental Europe, and to the USA.....All the best....Mick
Thanks for the comments on 'Yakima River 2,' I really appreciate it. I'm sorry to hear you are stuck behind a computer...me too but by choice. At least you get to travel the world while being stuck...big smile now...it's not so bad.
Hi Sheri, thank you for your nice words on "Srtar Flower", I'm glad you liked it, and appreciate your taking the time to comment. I have no idea which flower this is, I took the image in the Vienna's Palm House in the tropical section. But if somebody will tell me, I'll let you know!
Thank you for your comments on Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Yes I did climb it and Currituck Lighthouse. The others on the Outer Banks were closed to climbers.
