Hello Adrienne...Thankyou for your comments on (BLANKET OF SNOW 2)they are as you know very much appreciated...The majority of the schools in Cornwall were closed down on Monday and Tuesday and to the disappointment of the children they reopened on Wednesday.....Thankyou again....All the very best to you Adrienne.......................................Mick.

No gaurantee of that Adrienne..The British weather is so fickle..All this snow could be gone by tuesday...Sometimes I think the British Isles are just a windbreak for Europe...R.
Thank you for your kind remarks on my landscape. It means a lot to me when someone so prolific and talented stops by and signs the guestbook. Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones.

Adrienne - Thank you for faving 'Roaring Brook'. Yes, it was quite cold that day - actually for a week, thus the ice. In PhotoShop, I added a percentage of photo filter 81 to warm the colors slightly, as the original image was even colder looking. Thad
Thanks Adrienne..If i remember correctly that day was extremely clear..The air up there is so fresh and clear..The church is very isolated out in the middle of nowhere...R.
Ref: Wildwest sunset # 6. You wrote: "Simply a beautiful shot of the amazing sky line. The 'lighted' area on the left hand side is a tad distracting though. But maybe that's just me."
By golly you are right. Why didn't I notice that? Good eye, kid!
You are right Adrienne those Mega ships like the Ruby Princess drawf everything in sight. not too many people were on that beach since there is a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville complex right off the Pier so most everyone went there. It has shops, a DJ, swim up bar, and a huge pool, tropical ambiance, lounge chairs everything is free except for the drinks. The weather was perfect, blue skies, calm seas and sunny all day with interesting clouds passing by. Come on down the weather is fine! Diane
Thanks, Adie. I appreciate the kind words on "Enter the Darkling Woods." I just happened to turn around to look behind me for this shot as I was headed in the opposite direction on my way back to the car before it got dark.

Adrienne - Thanks for faving 'Oakies'. I used the new 70-200 on the tripod for this photo. It was a second attempt, as a few days earlier, a slight breeze kept the leaves moving enough to prevent a clear shot. But, a calm day, and mix of sun and clouds, offered the chance for this shot. Thanks again. Thad

Adrienne - Thanks so much for the fave of 'Harvard Glacier'. Late afternoon / early evening in College Fjord, sun shining, winds blowing off the ice fields, small icebergs floating in the water, clouds formed by the sun on the ice fields, raw rock mountains and miles of ice in the glaciers made an outstanding day for the camera. Thad
