Hi Rachel, thanks for your comment on "Was that food?"
I see what you mean about the otter blending with the rocks. Usually when I do the close-ups I try to get the background to be more out of focus or just more plain, but this was a crop of a wider angle shot so more was in focus. I thought, as you say, it was still a nice picture so thought it was uploading :)
Seems it's a bit late in the day, but since no-one else has said it yet, Welcome to Caedes :)
hi rachel thanks a lot for your kick ass review of flowers alt 5 ! soft and sweet is nice but can get a bit monotonous every now and then you need to kill an image with colour : ) thanks again

thanks for your advice this is just a photo i had taken a couple of years ago and there is not a place to get out on the rocks and even now the place i was to get this pic is no longer available to get too because of all the accidents they where having with ppl falling off rocks and climbing over the fence too get closer to the falls there is only two places now you can look at the falls one is right over top of them and one is farther down but you dont get a good look at them there. so this is as good a pic as i could get without risking my neck on the slick rocks and breaking the law by climbing where ya aint supposed too but thanks for your comments
Hi Rachel, thank you for liking "Lavender Gem"!! I really appreciate your happy words! I hope you stop by for another visit, would love to have you! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thank you, Rachel, for leaving a comment on rainbow paint. Yes, I'd have liked to have had a wider pic, but alas I took it vertically. But it was fun to add a 'story' to the left side. cheers, Quiet
Hi Rachel..thanks for stopping by & leaving comments on ~windows~!. The afternoon sun was rapidly setting. I do have an image posted called ~meditation~ where the sun is coming thru the windows. Your critique and support is deeply appreciated! Thanks :~)
Hi Rachel,
thank you for your comment on "Oldie But Goldie". You have wonderful action shots in your gallery. I love the missed tackle for it's clarity and the headwater pic for capturing the motion..., very impressive.
Hi Rachal! Thanks so much for stopping by and visitng ~mediation~. I debated with myself for several days before posting this image having the same thought that you did about the person. Yet, with it being an Abbey and the place was so gorgeous, so simple, it seemed fitting that someone was meditating there. You may visit my image ~windows~ which is the same shot without the person although the sun is at a completely different angle & I feel it lacks warmth . I was shooting with the late afternoon autumn sun rapidly sinking into the western sky on both of these shots. Your comments/critiques are deeply appreciated. Thank you :~)
Hi Rachel,
thanks you so much for commenting on Wizards!
I really appreciate that you took the effort of writing some words on this photo in particular.
You see, this is the kind of photograph I like myself so much and hope to see more on Caedes.
Concerning your note on the light and focus, this was as good as I could possibly get it, given the circumstances. There was quite a big distance between me and the wizard. I even shot this one at 1600 ISO!

Rachel, thank you for critiquing "Writing on thw Wall".
I don't understand what you mean about the shadow. It seems to be where it should be taking into account the lamp's base. Also, this might as well be a snapshot if it didn't include the light source, which is rather a unique lamp at that.
I already cropped a good deal and like where it is. I am afraid if I cropped any more, I wouldn't have enough pixels resize and compensate for the crummy detail on the camera. :-)
If you would like, I can send you the original and a few look-a-likes to see what you have in mind. I would be honored if you reworked them and uploaded one. Just give me a way to email them.
Hey Rachel...thanks for your comments on my posting "join me on my walk". It was a warm rainy night in Vancouver, BC/Canada just before dark. The fog cast on the bay was too much to resist for the walker or the camera. *click*
