Hi bgeek and welcome to Caedes. I´m sure you will enjoy your visits to this site ! I thank you for describing so well what you liked about my post "Swedish Swan" Maybe you can find another one you like in my gallery. -- Arne --
Hello Ivan, tks for taking the time and commenting on High Falls! I am glad you were attracted to the image. I think the framing created in this one really works well for the image.

Hello Ivan, how are you? Tks for your comments on Time For Reflection!
I am glad you liked it. I am always learning myself! But something about water and trees, calls out to me to take the shot!

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Hey, Thanks for your comment on Icy Arrow Hell...i never really looked at it as a snowflake...but now i see it...very good observation...thanks again..
Good morning
Many thanks for your comments and appreciation for "Insie Winsie". Not normally afraid of spiders, must admit to a little reluctance around ones as big as this, but it turned out happy to remain placid. Have noticed with these before that they seem to be quite happy to share their web with other spiders, and this one is no exception. Had actually bumped into an edge of the web before seeing it (teach me to walk where I'm watching), and spent the next two days looking for the (imaginary) spiders I was certain were crawling over me <chuckling>.
Enjoy your day

Good morning
's me again :)
Thanks for visiting and commenting on "Clare-Lind Homestead - in the garden bed". First thing I did was after reading them was to toss it at the Gimp and see how it would turn out - B&W had not even crossed my mind. It almost worked <sigh>, or you would have seen a repost - the rest of the image is too busy, detracts from the focus. If have the opportunity to return, will take some frames with a B&W result in mind (my camera only does colour, so need to use my imagination beforehand).
Enjoy your day

Hey! Thanks for the kind words about my Miners Cabin. I think that you may have your statement backwards. Shouldn't it be; "Rocks delapatate old buildings?" <wink>

Thanks for your response to my picture Remember When - What's that one for?. You assume that I meant the clutch... but it could just as well be a question for any of the pedals at one point in our lives! For example "accelerator" was once a new word to all of us!
Go back to the picture now .. and guess what it's from!
And yes .. I surely remember double clutching and when its called for! I took a 1 day course a few years back on shall we say "spirited" driving at Mosport. While I knew how to double clutch from years of driving a standard it was a lot more fun clutching, blip the throttle, clutch, drop a gear and and hammer it on the race course. ;)
Hi again Ivan ! I´m glad you liked "The Bermuda Butterfly". It is actually shot indoors at The Butterfly House in Stockholm. I hope to find them outdoors soon. Thanks for commenting !

Good morning Ivan
Thank you for your appreciative comments on "Eastern Water Dragon". This lizard was on rocks at the edge of the path and seemed almost tame, allowing me very, very close to take this frame.
Enjoy your day

Hello Ivan. Thank you for your interesting comments about “Resting”. You know I tried to get a good photo of a dragonfly for ages without success. Then all of a sudden I seemed to run into them everywhere, even in the supermarket carpark.
Hello Ivan, thank you for your comments on The Golden Road!
Sorry it has taken so long to answer your comment, I found a job and I have been working long hours.

Thank you for such nice words about my Indianhead Image..I liked showing the people there too, and knowing it gave some perspective to size..thank you again...it means a lot to me!
Thank you very much Ivan, for your compliment on my image "In The Workshop". I´m very glad you liked this kind of photo. It shows rather well the mood in this train society, I think. Why are pictures from the shop floor so rare....?

Ivan, you have a good eye, lol.
Tks for your comments on Lily of the Valley!
They are so tiny and I just got the tripod, so next yr we shall see if I can get a clearer shot.

Hey there, tks on It's Just Me...the picture was taken bye a local photographer that I stumbled on in pamphlets for Niagara Falls. She was wonderful.

G'day Ivan,
Thanks for putting me on your friends list and for taking the time to comment. Good luck with the Rebel, lots of folks here demonstrating superb photographs with that camera so there should be plenty of brains to pick. :)
Mikel.
Thanks for commenting on "Winter Wonderland" I agree ... the bg is too busy, but it is what it is :) This woodlot is nothing but brush and brambles.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Thanks Ivan for taking the time to comment on my squirrel picture “Winter In The Park”. This latest series of squirrel pictures were all shot in a brief 15 minute walk in the park. There is still a lot of ice on the paths making walking the biggest challenge.
Hi Ivan,
Thanks for commenting on The smoke House. Very much appriciate the feedback. I kind of felt something was off but really didn't think about the confusion the subject matter might be, but you hit the nail right on the head. Thanks!
