Yes Chris - I took the photograph of the fish looking down onto the water as they were gathering at the side of the marina in the shade out of the sun! :) thanks for your comments.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Hey Chris, Thanks for the comment on "Late Afternnon Reflections" I turned out great on the water but it's a shame about the sky being too light. You know How I am about reflections. sandi♥
Thanks Chris for your wonderful comments on A Vision Of Hope, it was a great morning for sure. This image was taken just over the hill where i go fishing almost every day, i see some great sights, very peaceful. All the best to you and your loved ones. Dwight.
Many thanks Chris for your kind advice on shooting indoor scenes. Listening to your advice, I WILL take my Manfrotto tripod (I bought it a couple of months ago in Toronto) to Europe with me. I'll certainly follow your other instructions re the f-stop and all. Yet, at the end of the day, it's EXPERIENCE that makes all the difference! I hope I can gain as much as you've got under your belt my friend! I'll always look up to your pics (and those of Hans, John, and others) to learn! Thanks once again for your kindness! Best regards to you and Sabine from me and Fran!
Thanks Chris for your nice words on my A pair. I really appreciate it and stuff.
My new cam is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5... just a compact cam but I'm very happy with it!
Hello Chris..I always enjoy it when YOU enjoy one of my photos, and let me know. The huge cloud over the beach and Ocean was special. And to drive up on that hiway and see it like that, and take a few shots, well, its awesome. I'm so glad I could share it with you..and thank you again..verena
The view is taken from the seilbahn, Zwölferhorn, west, looking east. Schaffberg on the left, straight in the middle you can see a church tower, that is Sankt Wolfgang.

Many thanks, my friend, for your kind words on "Trevi". I have posted a new one without the tourists in the foreground. Tell me what you think Chris....I mean, which one would you prefer? I value your opinion a lot (as you know)!
Thanks Chris for commenting "Bellydance". After checking it out myself a few more times on different screens I think her skin got a little to reddish... but I guess it´s within the tolerance :)
Thanks for the comment on "Milling Around" it was actually taken while we were driving home. i do enjoy the shots with a lot of sky in them and I am glad you did as well.
Hey Chris, Yes it's pretty flat around here, just some rolling hills is about it. Thank you for commenting on "Mother Nature Calling" I do appreciate it. sandi♥
Hey Chris, Thanks for pointing me towards the other pictures of the Vermilion Lakes. I hadn't even thought to look up the word to see if others from here had been there! It is amazing to look at the same location in a different season. I appreciated you stopping by and enlightening me with your comment! :)

I got a dog the other day... I named him Stay. It's fun to call him... "Come here, Stay! Come here, Stay!"
He went insane.
Now he just ignores me and keeps typing. ~Steven Wright

Dear Chris,
My cordial thanks for all the kind comments you've left on my recent uploads. I'm so sorry I have not been in touch; I have just returned from my trip and I'm still in the process of shaking the jet lag off and trying to catch up with new pics and comments!

Sheep Station.Believe it or not that shot was taken with a small Sony compact travelling down the Freeway in my truck..I was most surprised when it came out like this..Richie.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

"Schooner Bar" was my favorite. The light wood with brass accents and blue chairs in a curving design were tasteful. The seafaring decor featuring model ships, paintings, a brass compasses and wheel. I found the atmosphere very soothing, some other bars and lounges were just too loud and gaudy for my taste Glad you liked it Chris
