Spider! Uploaded: 06/11/06 3:53 PM GMT

Image: Spider!

This a spider that was living in my neighbour's hedge.

EDIT This was the first image that I uploaded on to Caedes. This was when I thought I knew how to take a photograph. I now know I still have much to learn.

Hello Steve. Thank you for your comments about “The Coal Loader”. Most of the time that place just looks dirty and ugly. Occasionally the light hides the ugliness and surrounds it with beauty. I was lucky enough to be there at such a time.

Hi Steve, glad you liked the photograph from the Roaches which are near to Macclesfield and Buxton but closer to Leek - just over the border into Staffordshire. I thought it was Derbyshire until I passed the sign saying Staffordshire. Parts of it may well be Derbyshire too! :) thanks for your comments.

Thanks for looking at and commenting on Little Town Overlook. No, there is no hidden agenda here. The nearest airport (for small engines) is about a half an hour away. The largest airport that now has a connection to Boston is about an hour and a half away to the south..and the largest airport that will transport us to distances beyond is over in Burlington, VT, which is about a 2 and a half hour drive over back roads from here..Granted we are suffering from more people from Boston since the Eisenhower Interstate finally completed its journey on a bypass through our town, but so far the damage is minimal !!

Sigh...may be time to move further out in the country !!

And as for the Lord Mayor's show, no I don't see the relevance to Liverpool at all. Thanks Steve for taking the time to comment on yet another squirrel picture. This one called “Another Look” was just another in the game of cat and mouse I play with these guys in the park.

Thanks again Steve for the comments on my picture “Balancing Act”. To keep the shutter speeds up on the 400mm lens I had to set the ISO speed to 800.

Thanks again Bob

Hiya Steve, your not wrong about his scruffiness, ( pigeon shot) seems that he lives on the quayside bins and my eldest daughter has called him Rafiki. Her and her pals would feed him in the summer it seems, and now he is left foraging in the bins lol.

Thanks for your comments on 'Burning Bush' and 'Land of the Lonesome...' Steve. I wanted to get something of autumn before it was completely over. Ready for winter now!

My Sandy Beach 2 image was taken on a very foggy and overcast day. I had to do some heavy photoshoping to get the detail that I wanted in this image. Thanks Steve for your support and comments on this photo. It's a bit cold for swiming this time of year.
