Thank you for your comment on "Fire in the Sky" The sunset was just stunning.. I also agree with the lights, but I suppose it's the small downfall to living near a dairy, asside from the smell but I think the Methane Emissions really bring out the colors in the sunsets, seeing as how that was directly over a dairy ;-) Glad you enjoyed it :)
Thank you for the comment on (Set Sail), Will. I am still very much a rookie photographer, so as I was taking shots of that river when the sailboat came along, I didn't adjust settings to get a "portrait" of the boat. I think you're right that it may have been more interesting though. Thank you for the helpful tip and I'm glad you enjoyed the shot anyway~
Thanks very much for your comment on "Silver Gull", it means alot coming from someone with your obvious talent. I'm afraid I can't take credit for the depth of field etc. as I had it on full automatic mode. I am learning though (only had the camera about 5 days).
thank you very much for comment on my art work "Somewhere in US and A" and it's in the califorina and i'm standing on the golden gate bridge when i took this shot facing pacific ocean.
Thanks Will, This was the first shot of this kind and it was taken at 285mm x 1.6 for the digital multiplier makes it 450 mm. The problem was not so much the focal length, but the distance. I moved closer for the later shots, but I wanted to show this one because I like the space around it. It reminds me of those NASA shots you see of spacecraft floating above the earth.

Thanks for your thoughts on "Snow Discs". I apologize, I have no access, or previous knowledge fo that matter, of flash guns, omni-bounce's, and lens hoods. Does that mean the image turned out all right? No wonder they pay you the big bucks for this kinda stuff... ;-)
Thanks Will. Perhaps I have something to learn about cropping, but in general I very rarely crop a photo. I try if possible to frame it as I want it. But I like you motto "tight and bright". I had not thought of it like that, but that is what I usually do - especially with sailing shots.

Thanks for the comment. I must say that the lense in your new icon looks absurd. :-) I am sure I would think differently if I saw it in action... Also, I appreciate the tutorial. It explains a lot and is useful, but is it really that important??? Thanks again.

I was looking at some of the stuff you have wrote in the message boards about dslrs. Thanks for taking the time to put such detailed information about them in there. IT was very helpful.

Hey Will, thank you for the comment on (Munich by Night). I visited Nymphenburg Palace but it was 20 minutes until closing and we did not get a chance to go inside. My favorite places around Munich were along the Isar river, where I spent most of a day walking. It was definitely a wonderful trip!
Hello again and thanks for commenting on (Isar). Our school put us up for the week in a very nice 5 star hotel, Le Meridien (so that's what they did with our huge program fee), and for the extra day I was there I stayed in a hostel that I could actually afford. Both places had their merits :). I'm glad you enjoyed some of the photos that came out of my journey~
Thanks for the comments on Lightner Roof. There wan't anything going on there that night, so I think they just had the running track lit. The lights you can see further away are for another city-run stadium.
i enjoyed having a look through your gallery - great flower pics. i would really appreciate it if you had a look at a couple of my pictures of flowers (if you can find the time). your opinion on them coud be really helpful as you seem to know what you are doing.

Good morning Will
Thank you for visiting "L'ambizione" and for your comments. Yes, this is just one of a set of four, but unfortunately the others are more difficult to photograph (people, double sided, etc). The one shaped like a pyramid is 'Il potere' (power). I remember the first time saw L'ambizione many years ago, my first thought was "someone's a Dr Who fan" lol.
Enjoy your day

Thanks Will for your post on my Hanalei shot - couldnt agree more with you about Kaua'i - already saving up to go back as soon as poss if I only I could remember to keep dodging the time share sales people this time :-)
Thanks for the comments on the Punter. Glad to hear from you.
Cambridge sure is a great place, I really enjoyed it. Your friend must be very smart... I hear you need at least a 3.8 GPA to even be considered getting into any of the Cambridge schools. See ya later, Cheers
thanks for commenting on playing in the hole. i thought leaving a little more on the left and bottom helped the composition by allowing a little more space for 'where he's going' but maybe not. im sorry i didnt try any wide apperature shots, 5.6 is the widest i ever went, and its nice cuz focus is rarely out then (and i was dumb and forgot to set it to focus continuous) next time i take kayaking shots i'll try the wide apperature, and it will also freeze the water, im just not sure if thats a good thing, the bit of blur in the water is kinda nice cuz it gives the picture some motion.
