Hey Paul, thanks for commenting on "Indifference". What they call each other can't be any worse than what they call me. Have a marvelous weekend. ~Wendell
Thanks Paul for your comments on "Painted Autumn". Glad you enjoyed the image. I wish I could get this amount of detail in my paintings. Getting the light and shadows right would drive me crazy. Have a grand day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Unexpected". I had no idea there was a "knight on fire" in the photo or I would have put him out before snapping any more photos. Glad you enjoyed the image. Not much to see in the flower shot, but feel free to take a gander. Have a calm & peaceful day. ~Wendell
merci, I am so glad to be acquainted with artist support and enriched comments from caedes. well received Paul. Also I checked out your stuff "reminisce" was a picture i truly liked, darks and red,but who wouldn't like this. waves of color, also a bella shot.. but i love a lot of your sanguine shots
also thanks for the sympathetic and edifying comment on fiery nature, glad i'm not alone with thinking shooting this kind of image was tough
Thanks, Paul, for your kind comments on "The Warmth of October" and "Prairie Sky." I appreciate it. And thanks for adding "The Warmth of October" to your favorites.
Hey Paul, thanks for your comments on "Flying Squirrel". Wished I had thought of calling it a squallow. Glad you enjoyed the photo. Have a great day. ~Wendell
haha yes. they are leaves... or are they (dah dah dunnn).. no they are (except for the butterfly on the left). sometimes i subconsciously make objects look like animals or insert subjects unintentionally when im painting.. drawing... sometimes on purpose. like some people see a face or a camel in this flower.
haha. thanks for checking out my stuff, laughed at some of your comments, blue bear... yea because you're a guy, pink bear wouldn't do.. and mohawks are the shiz. all babies should have them.. all the time (i hear i drew cool eyes on my (his) dona isabel painting too)
Thanks Paul for your comments on "Icarus Unbound". Glad you enjoyed the photo. I have learned it's best not to hunt flying squirrel with a .12 gauge or this is all that is left. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell
glad you like cabos dark.. it was a great and soothing mood setting. i have no idea how to use photoshopping software. ill prob stick with being an amateur trying to capture good photos by chance
haha. luckily that knife was plastic but nice and total accordance. nice guys are a half pence a dozen.
yea, casechaser is quite the psychoanalyst. Sometimes oddly accurate, sometimes rather inductive and creative (inducteative). I don;t recall if if i was drawing freedom but i believe water and its natural power does represent the release of chaos and the calm
ha yes, oil on paper .. not friendly. oil paint is everywhere, particularly on my (none fancy) clothes and computer but eh, such is life.
Thanks, Paul. Your kind words and thoughtful comments on "The Sheltering Oak" and "Winter Garden" are very much appreciated. And thanks, as well, for adding "The Sheltering Oak" to your favorites. Have a great week!
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Tangle of Legs". The kitten was merely surprised when the dog made a sudden move. Glad you liked the photo. Have a wonderful weekend. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "View". Glad you liked the photo and I get what you were saying about what you can see if you look. Funny how few people bother to actually look at a photo. Have a wonderful day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Fading Memories". That explains things then, I wonder what other shots are on that memory card. The "mud" is the dead needles of the pine and spruce trees lining the gravel path. Glad you enjoyed the photo. Have a great day. ~Wendell
well i am happy you see talent, and am not just scared. i don't think you should be able to literally relate to that man however i'm thinking fishing hook? must hurt.
thanks for the kind words, and I am happy you see talent in an "unconventional" drawing =). . . thanks for the reassuring comment on scalloped metal, appreciated

Hey Paul, thanks for your comments on "A View". The grain silo off in the distance is sadly listing to the right. I'm sure it is only a matter of time before it topples over spilling all the grain. Sure it will make the crows happy and the cows fat, but people will complain over the silliest of things. Have a wonderful day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, your squirrels are clearly falling behind in the arms race, ours have "squirrel guns". Thanks for your comments on "Sitting on the Edge". Glad you enjoyed the scene and have a lovely day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul! Thank you so much for your comment on "So Happy to See the Sun"! I'm flattered...especially coming from someone that takes such excellent photos. Thanks again!! - Bethany

Good day Paul, thanks for your comments on "Grasshopper". I can't guarantee it was noon when the photo was shot, hope that don't affect how you feel about the shot, lol. Glad you enjoyed the photo. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for commenting on my new posts, I am glad you like them so :) As far as the works in Gimp I'll give you a hint as to how I did it - I used the brushes - try it ;) It's fun!
Thanks for making "Miur Woods" a fav. *grinning from ear to ear* It is an amazing place. I have only been to California 2 times and it was absoluteley amazing. I'm obsessed with large trees, so I was in heaven while I was there. I always appreciate your visits, and comments. Thanks again dear! =)
Man's heart away from nature becomes hard. ~Standing Bear ***** I believe in God, only I spell it "Nature" ~Frank Lloyd Wright, quoted, 14 August 1966 **** With innovation and technology, seems we have forgotten to cherish the true beauty the world has to offer. ~A.C. Van Cherub
Thanks Paul for your comments on "Foggy". Glad you enjoyed the photo. The lake monster might account for those screams I heard as I snapped the shot. Have a nice day. ~Wendell
pen Bird didn't take me lot of time since it was right in front of me when I saw what the contest is going to be about. :) I am glad you like it and so the other posts of the flower..and yes I agree about the backroung on the O&Y Flower but I only have a small digital camera (Nikon E5600) without much options such as EVs adjustments. Thank you for the support though, I like honest comments the most! :)
Hi Paul, Thanks for the fave on "Country Sunset". I don't get too many great sunsets since I live on the very top of a ridge ... so when opportunity strikes I quick grab my camera. Glad you like it. Sherree
In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art. ~Rumi~
Thank you Paul! For all your beautiful comments on my flower posts. I am really happy to see that you like them and yes there are a lot of flowers around here - I should post some more soon too when I get to it. :) Thank you once again!
Thank you for the nice comment and faving "After the Storm" Paul!! What a difference a day makes! you'd never believe 24 hours ago this calm and tranquil place was full of dark angry storm clouds, blowing winds, pounding rain and non stop thunder and lighting bolts crashing across the sky, the lake was choppy, gray and rough. Maybe I should have offered fruit and rice cakes instead of bad for you donuts..LOL
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Lumbering Beast". Glad you enjoyed the view. The damage was already in the process of being restored as the shot was taken. In 10-20 years you'd never know it had occurred. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "End of the Song". Glad you enjoyed the view. I could never bear to "just jump in and get a little wet". One must remain civilized even in the wilderness. After all it's what separates us from the animals; that and good steel cages with proper plaques detailing exactly which poor critter is in the cage. Have a lovely day. ~Wendell
Paul - I am pleased that you have had a few moments to post photos and comment on others. Thanks so much for faving Denali Taiga. We had a phenomenal trip to Alaska, with great weather and amazing views of landscape and animals. Thad
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Who You Calling Yellow". Glad you liked the photo. I would suggest starting off with a disposable camera for a drop kicking experience. Have a great day and a wonderful week. ~Wendell
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Pool". Glad you enjoyed the scenery, sorry you missed the grab bag. I neglected to get any close ups of the scene, that day was all about the long view. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Uppish". Glad you enjoyed the scene. I intentionally darkened the scene to enhance the shadows. For some reason they usually come across on this site as being too dark. Have a wonderful day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "All Legs". Glad you enjoyed the photo. I had no idea they were that dangerous or I would have worn my asbestos underwear when handling it. Have a grand day. ~Wendell
Hey Paul, thanks for your comments on "I Got it Backwards" and for adding "Lilyvale" to your faves. Glad you enjoyed the photos. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Thanks Paul for enjoying my sweet treat, if you ate everything in the picture it would come to 3 million calories and 1500 lbs of chocolate..it took them 500 hours to make it. Sorry I have not commented much lately I simply got all photo'ed out.
Hey Paul, thanks for your comments on "Whole Lot of Green". Glad you enjoyed the scene. After the 94th abduction you get used to it and things become routine. Have a great day. ~Wendell
Wanting to Wish you A Very Happy Birthday , tomorrow, Jan. 11th. Hope you have a blast with your family and dear friends. I'm raising my glass to you my dear friend. CHEERS.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Save us some cake, we're heading over, lol.
Thanks Paul for your comments on "A Walk in the Park". Glad you enjoyed the scene. Unfortunately my cloning license has been temporarily suspended. Have a very fine day. ~Wendell
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on "Tricycle". Glad you enjoyed the photo. If you'd learn to look after your toys better and not leave them laying about for fools like me to trip over them. Then we wouldn't have a problem. Have a great day and take care. ~Wendell
