Hey Karen :D
Thankyou so much for your feedback on *Oceanescent*...pleased you liked it! - I'm rather fond of the colours too so I'm very glad you agree ^_^
Welcome to Caedes, also!
Have a great day and best wishes,
Thanks so much for looking my gallery over and giving me some very positive feedback on some photos that I had forgotten I'd submitted. It makes me think more about what attracts my eye and how much I have learned and how much further I need to go. It also pointed up to me the fact that a couple of the uploads you commented on I really liked, and even though they didn't do well in the voting booth, your comments opened my eyes once again as to why I took them. I'm glad you saw what I was going for. Much appreciated.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Welcome to Caedes...even though you joined a couple of yrs ago, I see not a lot of activity in here since then. Hope you become more frequent! Tks for commenting on my image!
Subtlety.
Thanks for the complements, but DON'T you dare not post your Hibiscus picture just because you think mine is better. Don't cheat your self out of the chance to get some feed back on your work. If I did not post something for that reason I never would have posted any thing on Ceades! Besides this one was archived back in June. Nobody has seen it since. And you never know, I just might learn something from yours.
In any case, Thanks again.

Thanks for the comment on A Day At The lake 8...the colors were enhanced in post editing work. They were pretty much the same in the original, just brought out more.

Are you familiar with the context - the Restaurant at the End of the Universe & its MC, Max Quordlepleen?
I don't have an image of the AV-8. This may be of help (it is in the public domain)

If this helps please let me know.

Hahaha, you have a sharp eye. I had to look carefully to see what you meant by that "butt". But it's a beach, what do you expect? I was looking only up, at Olympus, maybe to see somebody of those gods, and I thought everybody was going to look at that direction. You feel my pain? What pain, my dear? I don't have any pain for such simple things, this is fun for me, my life doesn't depend on this. So, have fun, Karen!
Hi Karen,
You are so right about it being hard to capture a field of bluebonnets. Flower blooms have a way of fooling the camera into overexposing or underexposing. Had it been sunny weather it would have been even more difficult but most of the days were overcast. Thanks for stopping by "Home Sweet Bluebonnet Home".

Thanks for your nice comments on 'Just Relaxing'. Sometimes he's a ninja. But most of the time he's a boxer (he play fights with his little sister, Boo).

The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
Hi Karen, Thanks for your visit to Mandarin Sunset , and your wonderful comments! I truly appreciate you taking the time to give me your thoughts, and pleased to know that you enjoyed it! :)
It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
Karen, Thanks so much for your commentary on "coyote and swallowtail" I don't get much time to spend on Caedes these days with 2 1/2 year old twins and just having moved into an new "fixer-upper" house.
