Grand Opening..... Hi Mark. Glad you cared to comment on the flowers, even if they werem't in bloom. I thought they looked interesting, with the rain drops and the small reflections. I'll try and find them again this year. Forgot to go back when they were open.
Hi Mark..feel very welcome to Caedes ! I´m really glad you found an old fav. photo of mine - the red & black hay barn (Safeguarded Harvest). It´s painted with the old Falu Red-paint made from minerals from the copper mine in Falun, Sweden (someone called our country "The land of the red barns"..!) This paint has a fantastic lustre changing very nicely in different light. I like simple compositions like this one..interesting textures/shapes, good light and a well balanced shot...I´m very pleased to see you like these kind of shoots too, Mark...thanks for your comment !

Thank you for your kind words on Spruce Flats Falls. I would have loved to have grown up near falls like this. I would have been climbing them right next to you!!
Blue is my fourth Lab, and a best friend and companion. Hard to find a nicer or more intelligent breed. I'm sorry you have restrictions. They just love having kids to play with.
Thanks again, Mark. Glad you enjoyed that tulip. I thought the black colour in the lower part of it was rather unique. At least, I had never seen one that colour before.
Thanks, Mark, for taking the time to check out some of my photos. I'm glad you enjoyed "home, sweet home" and "at the front gate" and took time to comment!
Mark - thanks for your comments on "Old Man Lion", they are much appreciated. Although I'd love to blame the camera for some of my pictures, I think it's my ability to use it that needs to be upgraded!
Cheers, Kim.
Hi Mark,
Thanks for taking such a speedy look at "Harbor at Mykonos" and for saying such nice things about it. I am very glad you liked it. We had a wonderful time there.

Hi again, Thanks for stopping by the "Monastery" as well. They were fascinating places the like of which I had never seen. I appreciate your kind comments.
Hi Mark. Flash fil is primarily used when you are shooting portrait pics against the light, and the light meter doesn't give you a true reading. It's almost always advisable to use the flash in bright sunlight, when the sun or main light is coming from behind the subject, and all the current cameras are programmed to give you proper expisure, whan you use the flash with daylight.
Thanks for taking a stroll to Goose Pond, and thank you for the comments. Let see the frame, there just noway to make everyone happy when it comes to frames. So why did I put a frame on it because that image needed a frame for contrast. I picked the one I did because the program I use is limited. Well any thank you very much for your time.
Hi Mark,
Thanks for taking a look at "Poppies at Ephassos". I appreciate your very supportive comments and your suggestion for a change. I do have some more photos from that trip, and I hope you will enjoy them as well.

A Rainbow for Arches - I'm happy you enjoyed it, as it's one picture I was really itching to get.

End of the Road ... First, before I forget, It's my truck and camper, (about 22 feet long and 11 feet high}, and I wanted you to get an idea of the size of these boulders. Now that I've done it in B&W, I'm going to clone the truck, out of it, as I never went back to move the truck for another shot. Glad you enjoyed this and my lake reflection, and thank you for the kind comments, Mark. Also for the other two, you visited, tonight.
Much appreciated.
Thank you, Mark. You've taken considerable time to view many of my pictures, today. I'm quite flattered, and very much appreciate it.I hope you enjoyed your visit, and come back again, when you have the opportunity.
Doug.
Hey thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment on Myst. The door actually had copper in it, but I did make the lighting a little more orange to bring it out more. Thanks again. : )
I'm glad you liked the green in the tunnel, I thought it would be too bright but I just couldn't help it, I love green. Thanks for saying it was fantastic. :]
Hi Mark,
Thanks so much for your comments on, "Red Baron." At first I thought that the brown grass might detract from the photo but as you indicated, it creates a nice contrast actually.
Thanks again!
