ok well my dad knows more about it but, it is a slr/digital. 6.2 mega pix. IT IS SO EASY TO USE, IT IS AMAZING, it is point and shoot. the image quality is incredible, look at some of the photos that i posted, so you can see the image quality. I recomend it!!!

Yes, I know. Problem is you can't use your tone of voice when you are typing, I try to use those little smiley faces to convey my "tone", but sometimes I think people take your comments the wrong way, especially when you offer a critique of their work.
BTW, coincidentally that was the last of my WA photos. I only have a few more Phuket pics and then I will have to start looking for something new. Wish this poster would arrive, then I could get them up twice as fast...

lol - Shoal Bay! When I first went backpacking OS, alone, the first person I met was a girl I had gone to college with. Months later, after giving a small talk on Australian Idiom in a university in Nuremburg, the professor said he was proud to say he had spent time in Australia. Where? I asked. Oh, just a little place in NSW. Then he named the suburb two away from my own. I had so many experiences like this on that trip it became just a tad creepy. Goes to show its a small world!
Thanks Henry for the comments about "Tacking Point Lighthouse". I agree the palms do look a little seedy, they have suffered through 2 years of drought now autumn is knocking them around. Your comments and critique are appreciated.
this is my 1st slr so i would have nothing to compare it to. i have had no complaints as of yet and all my pics have come out clear and sharp. if u already have a bunch of ef lenses your ahead of the game anyways. for the price it was my best option (999.00) came with ef-s 18-55 mm and photoshop elements. if u happen to have anyspecific questions, drop me a post and i'll answer if i can. thanks for the great comments too btw.
FYI...covered bridges were made so that horses wouldn't spook when crossing the river (or creek). They would not go across a high bridge. This is reference to "Sandy Creek Revisited" by jojomercury! Happy Day!
Henry, Thanks for the NZ pics. It is a place where I have always wanted to go. My son has been saving his allowance for years so he can go there someday. From all your posts and all the other pictures I have seen, NZ is a stunningly beautiful place, both the North and South Island. Thanks so much for sharing and I am looking forward to more postings.
The Epson RX-510 seems to be very good. I've a friend who scans with an Epson (don't know the type), but the result is very poor. Then, I bought a scanner only for slides and negs (Minolta Dual Scan III)
thanks for the compliments on Red Mountain, Henry! it was one of the first pics i took, and i guess it didnt turn out too badly. take a look at my others if you get the chance. cheers
