Battling the Ohio

Thanks for you comments! I am just getting started with a "real" camera (always had a point and shoot before". I am currently using a Cannon Rebel XS. I love it so far...just waiting to splurg on a zoom lens. :-)

Thanks for your comments on "conch shell" Chris. I can assure you this is not fake. I actually took this prior to shooting the black and white image to see how the background would turn out. The image is not reworked in any way as it was just a trial type of thing. It was never really meant as a background type of shot either. I've taken two rolls of black and white's using the Mamiya of seashells, including that one. All came out really well so I was pleased with the session all in all.
