Hi Jessica. Welcome to Caedes. I feel privileged to be the first to receive a comment from you. What part of Texas do you live in? I owned a little part of Austin for ten years, and I miss that great nation terribly. Last year when the hurricanes tore through Louisiana I really got to thinking about rectifying that, but the wife and I had just bought a house here in New Orleans, so we're tied here for a couple of years now. Maybe by 2008 we'll be back there.
Hi Jessica and thanks for taking time to comment on my “Red And White Rose”. Red is the most difficult color for me to photograph but accidents do happen and occasionally one turns out.
Hi Jessica, I am so sorry, it seems I have overlooked your comment on "Glory in the Sun"! I so apologize my dear! I thank you for viewing the image and am very glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate your comments, and look forward to your next visit, as I would enjoy that! Also, I would like to offer my warm WELCOME to Caedes! I hope you enjoy your stay here! You will meet many nice people on this site, so have fun! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I'm from Texas. San Antonio now, but grew up in the boonies (for those unfamiliar with the term that means way out in the country...you wouldn't find my parents property if you worked the FBI, CIA, KGB, or Scotland Yard). I found this site purely by accident and absolutely love it! I've never seen so many beautiful images in one place. Know that all the wonderful photographs yall take and are kind enough to share are greatly appreciated and admired.
Hi Jessica, many thanks to you for viewing "Charismatic"! I appreciate your thoughts and comments, and will be looking forward to your next visit, as I would like that! Please continue to enjoy the site, as it is the best! Hope you are photographing all your Texas flowers for us to enjoy! Please stop by again! Sincerely, Marilyn
I am so glad you liked my Sunrise at Folly Beach! It was a beautiful winter day that morning! I love the beach in winter. Thank you for your comments and taking the time to check out my pic! I sincerely appreciate it!
I see you did really visit my oldies, lol. Great to see you liked my nature shots. Your warm words are great pleasure to read. Thank you so much for your comment on "swampy territory". I liked your interpretation very much and I have the feeling you really got the gist. My camera is nothing very sophisticated so I was glad to see the photos taken in the thick forest came out surprisingly well. Stay tuned
You discovered the magical alley. Thank you so much for your feedback on "Early October". Every time I go there it seems a completely different place. It changes with the sun travel. Looks inviting in the morning, very contrasting in the midday and so warm in the aftrenoon. I feel obliged to record its evolution. Stay tuned.
Thanks Jessica for the comments on Miss daisy. The intent on this one was to crop it down to mostly the yellow in the middle surrounded by white but the high F20 aperture gave the white petals a nice black background I didn’t crop it.
Hi Jessica, it's me again, many thanks for viewing "Waiting their Show-time"! I really appreciate your comments! Also thank you so much for placing my image in your favorites! That is very generous of you! I will look forward to your next visit, as I would enjoy that! Sincerely, Marilyn
I am glad you liked THis Old Thing. Prism, my husband went with me and he has posted some of these old cars too. The funny thing is that this property is a nursery and these old cars are just there along with an old windmill. I asked the owner if I could come and look at them. They are behind a barb wire fence.
Here I am again. I am glad you liked ringing of the bells taken at San Juan Capistrano Mission. There were kids all over the place that day on a field trip.
You must be checking out all my stuff. Thanks for the comments on the old walls at Mission San Juan. I am glad you enjoy my work as I am a baby photographer only doing this for a couple of months. Wiat until I get really good. You will be so proud of me!
It's me again!!! This time you peeked at American Flag. I should dedicate it to you and all the others who unselfishly have worked to protect our freedom. This was on the wall of a metal factory and I wanted to remind people that our people are still fighting and so when we celebrate Easter and go to church it is because we have freedom of religion as well as fredom to talk about things and question them without percecution or prosecution.
Hi again! Red Hot Car was just sitting there when I was driving by. I dont know who owns it or anything about it. But I liked it, I had my camera and I stopped and took a picture.
Hi! The rusty old car would be worth so much more and could have been in car shows if it wasn't kept outside all the time in the rain and other elements. It is out there with about 10 others in a nursery lot.

Thank you for checking out the Old Steering Wheel cover. An old mustang is very cool! You said your steering wheel or stick shift knob looked like the one in the image. Have fun crusin in your mustang.
Wow, thank you so much for the kind comments and for stopping by on my butterfly and beach shot. I appreciate the comments greatly and the compliments made me smile!
Hi Jessica. Thanx for stopping at Crocodile River. I appreciate you taking the time to check out my work. Thanx for the nice comment. It is a lovely part of the country where I live in, and many unspoiled places like that, because there are many game farms around here. I'll be posting more like that.. hopefully soon.. :) Welcome to the Caedes Family!
Thank you for your kind feedback on "pussy willow". So glad you found it appealing and left me such a nice comment. You are welcome in my gallery any time.
Lovely words from you Jessica, and thanks for Knight's at Home' believe it or not...but this castle, is privately owned!..and is only open to the public twice a year!...one of them near Xmas for the continental craft markets, so they can get some 'upkeep' from the rent money they charge........waste of a good castle eh!
Thank you for your comments, lately... they are soo appreciated! :) I am so bad about following up on comments, but I'm working on it. I really am grateful for you stopping in and taking a look at my photos, though :)
I am really glad to read all the nice words you left on "violet explosion". They brought smile on my face. I hope my thriving pansy did bring a smile on yours.
OK OK. . feeling hassled. . . I will post the pure version of my "Leaning Bench Tree" in the next 24 hours. . although I would like to defend the sky manip. . when you see the original the tree. . it does not really stand out as that remarkable. . I feel my sky does bring it out. Although that is my opinion. . Best Amida
Jessica, so you want to ride in the Hot Red Car??? It was just sitting there looking good waiting to be photographed and no one was around to tell me about it.
Hi Jessica. Thank you for your comment on Hot Pink. All but two of the pictures I have posted were photos my late husband took years ago. I'm new to this and appreciate any comment. My own pictures are Hot Pink and Announcing Spring! and I'm trying to improve. This is fun! Judy
Thanks ever so much for your lovely comments on my "Lower Emerald Pool." I really appreciate the fact that you stopped long enough to pass along your valuable feedback.
howdy there Jes, thanks for the great comment on "Dahlia". Most of the effects were on the surrounding flowers. I didn't really touch the main flower. I'm glad you liked it!!
hi jessica, kauai is a beautiful place and the area around ihanalei bay is the best of the best so it's fun to search around for a good spot to take a pic. this was fun because i was in the water. thanks so much for your comment. jen
Thanks for commenting on my Almost Summer! pic. It was 6:30 when i took it so there wanst that much sun. I guess i could make it brighter on photoshop. Thanks, one last time.
Yes I have "dabbled". I'm actually debating which pics to post here. Hard to choose. I keep ruling pics out. This ones too dark, this ones too bright, this one is the angle and so on. And I've taken some new shots of San Antonios annual Fiesta this past week and hope they turn out O.K. Cross your fingers for me. When I'm done sorting (and brave enough) I'll post some of my photos here.
