thanks for your comments on "don't follow" and "last resort"... i don't do much with lighter backgrounds cause usually it makes the image look too busy and bright for the desktop, in my opinion
about the piano pics, my piano isnt exactly sitting in the middle of a stage, its more crammed in the corner of a living room, so to get a picture of the whole thing would look pretty much like a snapshot, and wouldnt look so hot, if i ever come across one i can get a good picture of the whole thing, i'll try
thanks for the comments, i appreciate it. I have the same story as above, i don't have a "nice" place that i would like to take a picture of but if i find one, i will hopefully get a shot of it.

thanks for the nice comment on "repercussions"... i use corel photopaint (comparable to photoshop) and kpt plugins, along with photographs i take of water in my kitchen sink.
Hi cmt - thanks for your words on 'Here comes the rain again...'
Oh, and with the 'Angry elephant' shot I was between it and the river (maybe 20m either way), but I figure if he'd wanted to get us we couldn't have outrun him anyway...
Hey there! Thank-you very much for stopping by and looking at 'The Fire Within' - it's quite a new direction for me, and with positive feedback like yours, I feel encouraged to keep going! Thanks again, cheers!
Thanks! I'm glad that you found my Playground Climber interesting. Thanks for your nice comments. I was just trying out my new camera and its features.

Thank you on behalf of Alexis and me for the compliment on "Early Morning Mist." I like to think of it as green bean country. I read somewhere that 90% of the greenbeans consumed in the US are grown in the Willamette Valley. Personally, I look forward to strawberry season! :) Be that as it may, thank you for letting us know you enjoyed the image. Steve
Hay House 2 is a manipulation and shot at this angle because of the grounds keeper working on both sides. It was an overcast day with the sun behind the house. When I adjusted the exposure for the shadow side, the sky got washed out. I took a photo of the sky about an hour later and merged the two images. Thanks for viewing and commenting on this image.

Thanks for your nice comments on my picture Cabo Wabo. Cabo San Lucas is located on the tip of the peninsula of Baja Mexico. You ought to go, lots of fun!
Greetings, a soft dreamy romantic look was my objective with “A Shady Place” so your comments about it are especially pleasing to me. I wouldn’t mind if that were in my backyard either. I am much humbled and honoured by your comment about my gallery. Thank you.
I'm actually not LDS. I am an Evangelical Christian. We stopped by the Temple on the way down to Mexico for a missions trip. I was a great place and I loved the temples. We went to the museum and stuff too. Even though I'm not LDS I still think it would be cool to talk once in a while. Cheers.

Hello STILL THINKING OF A NAME,
I stil have to tell you what play it was on my photo of "The piano".
It was Adagio from Frans Schubert (Scherzo allegro vivace D845).
Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it very much.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Thank you very much for the comment on Tatooine III. Yes, I'm a fan of Star Wars. Though, probably not as much as my dad. He's collected almost every action figure. If he actually puts them up, maybe I'll take a picture and put it on here. Piano? Me too. I'm not a composer though. Took lessons for about 8 years and still play as much as I can.

Thank you for your very kind words on "Spring in the Klickitat River Gorge". I'm pleased you like it. By the way I'm familiar with that verse.
The most important human endeavor is the striving for morality in our actions. Our inner balance and even our very existence depend on it. Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to life.

Thanks for your comments on my "Fine Alto." Its my alto sax which i also played in high school. You should become a sax master! there so much more fun to play and opportunities come up all the time like local bands asking you to play with them or your old high school begging you to teach them some of your fine skills!! yea...its fun.
Thanks for your comment on "Keys." I have some friends that have played at those piano festivals... but I haven't really played in a while. I really like playing guitar and cello.
To answer your qestion about what program I used to create " Postcard from Space"
I used Terragen for the mountainous landscape and photoshop to create the planets and stars.
I'm uploading my photography on deviantart.com as well so you'll start seeing some of my same stuff on that site aswell. If I think people like it enough, i might buy a subscription and sell my artwork on it.
