Welcome to Caedes Mike, hope you love the site as much as I do!
Thank you so much for liking "Dogwood Delight." What I did was climb up the inside of a sweetly scented blossoming tree on a lovely spring day and took the photo from the inside out into the brilliant blue sky.

The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken.

G'day Jake,
Glad you liked the Urban Ghost III and I'm glad it gave you that eerie feeling, that was what I was after. Nice to know, thanks for the feedback.

and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)

Kia Ora Jake, and welcome to Caedes. Many thanks for your comment on Freedom. It made me remember that split image effect - maybe I shall try it again :)
***Cool subject. What is it? A sculpture maybe?***
Thanks for your reply ! :-) i shot this one in Brussels Belgium. It is a building made for the world exhibition wich was held overthere about 50 years ago, and it is called the Anatomium since it represents that.
Thanks, Jake, for commenting on "Only The British..." They were a lovely couple who were having a great time with their granddaughter in a howling gale!
God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.

Hi Jake :) Thanks much for your comment on Trumpet of Spring. So glad to know you enjoyed it! I just love these trees, the flowers are so amazing (although rather poisonous! ha!)
Thanks for the comment on "Death Valley: Racetrack." And, yes, you are right :) They have no idea how those rocks move. Why they don't put a video camera out there is beyond me. :-P
Hi Jake!
Thanks so much for your nice comments on my Passionate clouds! I am sorry I could not reply earlier, I was so wrapped up in work, that unfortunately there was little or no time left for art. Your support and kind words for my painting are greatly appreciated!
I resemble that remark. He He. There are lots of us goofy guys on here with redneck roots and weird senses of humor. I am proud to be amongst them. Have a goodun, young feller.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

I'm trying to make a link here, hopefully it'll work. If it does, a link to my gallery will appear down below. If not, it'll be confusing. Wish me luck!

Thank you very much for your comment on my photo "Still as a Rock," I appreciate your input. I had not even noticed my shadow in the picture as I thought it was just another shadow. Thanks for pointing it out!
Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork. Bene lava!!
