Hi Katarina. Thanks for your comments on "Clouds pass over cinder craig". I thought the picture had a kinda eerie feel - an almost absence of color (except the sky and those small patches of flowers that you pointed out!"
Hello Katarina: Glad you liked "Hall of the Giants". As the light filters down through the canopy it filters out the other colors and gives everythig a really green cast. It looks like something from outside this earth.
Michael, I know exactly what you mean about the green look. I have a similar pic of part of the forest..(well it is more like the line of trees) which turned out so unnaturally green that even I who was there when I took it couldn't belive the colors.. I'll upload it here later so you can see for yourself.
Hi Katarina. (What a beautiful name, what does it mean? Hope you don't mind me asking.) Let me know when you put your picture up, so I can make sure and have a look. I want to thank you for such nice comments on "Deep in a Forest of light. (I like Lord of the Rings as well).
Hi Katrina... thanks for your comment on Apophysis Reef.... im glad you liked it... im sure this is a rockfish found in the reef... but im probably wrong.. dont know much about fish... lol... thanks for letting me know... appreciate it... :)
Hi Katarina, thankyou for your positive comment on 'Scottish Beauty'. Im really dissapointed that the image is so unshape as i think it would have been totally stunning if it had been sharp. Unfortunatly my digicam could not cope with the vast views and tended to focus in on the background, leaving the foreground blurry :'( ah well, still had a lot of good feedback, including yours so thankyou

Lady_Rhea, the Kat im my nick "cyberKAT" is short from my real name - Katarina, and it does not refer to "cat". Te doggie pic that I use as my icon is my own dog Bonny... I never even had a cat. I like them but I am more of a "dog person". ;)

Thanks for the comment on "Finlay Park" I hadn't really thought at all about the position of the big rock. I'll probably do a rework and move it over a bit. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hi Katarina...thank you so much for your enthusiastic response to Secrets of the Swamp...very glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate your time in dropping by.:Pat.

Grateful for the tips, I am only one tourist with old camera digital in the hand making the best one that I can and learning with the tips of the friends, its opinion I am very important pra me.
"Gold Fish" Actually these are my friend's fish and he says that they are Female Sortales and the males have an extended fin as their tail. Either way...I am not into fish too much thats why I probably dont even know the right name, but thanks for your comment and I will try to do the cropping when I get time.
Yes, i know my camera is not very good :) but I try my best with it and I cant really buy a new one right now, but maybe in the future...:) Thanks for your support though :)
Hi Katrina, I am so glad that you liked (Wonderland ) It was just like a dream. The day was just right for walking and they were persimmons, hickory nuts and walnut trees everywhere, we like to gather all those things. Thank so much for your response. Dwight.
Hello Katarina (lovely name), thanks for noticing my little birdie buddy 'Red-headed Nuthatch' and leaving such a kind comment. I really love your sparrow picture! :^]
Hey Kat, thanks for your nice comment on 'Sky King'. I have a Digital Rebel which is the same as the EOS 300D. If you can get a 350D than they are even better--I am going to try and get an EOS 20D for not much more than a 350D and much much better. I have a Tamron 200-400mm lens which is out of production but some companies still have in stock and they are on Ebay pretty often for a very reasonable price. Tamron makes a 200-500mm now. But if you can afford it get a Canon 100-400mm IS L Pro lens. If I had this lens and an EOS 20D I woiuld have even more and much sharper images.
Hello Katarina, thank you for your comments about “Ripples” I love Herons and Egrets too they are such graceful birds. This one was feeding towards me so I sat down and waited for him to come to me.
Hi Katarina.....Thankyou for clicking on my "Aerial Elegance" image and leaving such a nice comment.....I love your bird images so a comment from you is much appreciated....Best Wishes for the New Year.
Hey Katarina, thank you for the nice comment on my picture "Stahya", glad you liked it! F.Y.I. Stahya is the greek word for tall grass! Best regards ~> Maria
Hi Katarina!
